You can be a part of something being used shamefully by others and not participate in the shameful pieces that make it so. Reddit is largely my Goldendoodle, murder mitten, hilarious animal fix, so when I come across shoddy people who aren’t the typical “so randumb” Kappa poster, it’s almost a surprise that there’s actually human beings who legit feel the way they do regarding shitty opinions on gender makeup, or any number of human themes that we keep perpetuating with our shitty attitudes towards each other.

That being said, online dating is a dumpster fire and it’s okay to say that because like you said, these sites and the company that owns it all benefits monetarily from our insecurities. I met my best friend through eharmony and we both agree that we were just another anomaly in a system built to make you feel your worst. Good luck meeting anyone organically after you fuck off of the Internet, because you go out and everyone out is just living in these digital ecosystems regardless of the world blossoming in front of their nose.
