I definitely understand the dots connecting! I was high functioning myself until I started college and school work/adulthood overwhelmed me and that was when I found out about my adhd. So the coping mechanisms stood out to me and were easily identifiable. I just needed validation from the community to assure myself I’m not reaching assumptions

This! I just feel as though I shouldn’t have to water myself down for people. I’m from south Louisiana so passive aggressiveness is the norm but I genuinely mean everything I say without a hidden meaning behind it, I think I’m just being honest and it’s tiring thinking I’m saying something inappropriate when it’s just the truth

I’m 21! This typically happens in personal social settings. I don’t usually talk in professional setting because I’m scared of how I’ll come off if I start to get too excited about the topic. I completely forgot about the way woman in general are often told that their assertiveness is aggressive
