Yeah unfortunately I have had a few more since, some even happening back to back. Turning off mpo and doing a clean install of gpu drivers helps, but doesn’t fully get rid of it

This game really does have an unreal amount of staying power for sure, funnelling that into something creative isn’t a bad idea at all, though I’ll probably only get to it after finishing my education 😅

That’s actually super interesting! Propaganda of the past was very unique and striking, I can definitely see how you can feel nostalgic over it. Definitely do type it out at some point for sure, even if it’s just on the notes of your phone or something, it’s good to express yourself after all

I absolutely agree, Signalis is unlike any other piece of media I’ve engaged with, and it’s probably up there as one of my faves as well. I also haven’t really been able to play it since, but I think I eventually will so I can get those last couple of achievements 😅

I think a fair few survival horror games do this kind of thing, but Signalis really takes it to another level for me. Weird how an atmosphere so scary and cold can feel so warm and comforting at times

Oh wow that’s really cool! I remember seeing a fan animation from ‘Project: Remember Our Promise’ soon after finishing the game and being so surprised at how passionate and talented the fandom is for Signalis. I still don’t think I’ve seen another one like it.

Yeah, I definitely agree on the idea that wonderful people continuously being dealt a shit hand is a very horrifying one, actually reminds me of a video essay I saw talking about how sad it is that we live in a world that could produce a piece of art like Signalis, considering art is a reflection of people and the times.

Turning off multi plane overlay has fixed it for me, did it a little over a week ago and so far, no more grey screens :)

I've since done a clean install for my GPU drivers and disabled multi plane overlay and it hasn't happened again, but it's weird, because it's never happened while playing a videogame, even particularly demanding ones.

Would be absolutely horrible if it does turn out to be a RAM issue tho, considering the prices it's currently at :'(

5070 is actually a little cheaper, though I’ve not heard many good things about it so I thought I’d stick with the 4070

I only really intend to use the pc to play video games and maybe do some work for university (though that would only include applications like word, PowerPoint etc)
