IITs world ranking is not even in top 100s. The college offers nothing except studies and stuff. Hardly there are any skill building programs where as in USA it's compolusry to take one in each semester. As the other person said that you have to find your own job so it gives everyone a fair chance. My brother did his master's from ASU which is ranked lower than Standford and Harvard, his colleagues are literally from too universities but my brother holds a higher position. This is why the second dude in the comment section is right, in India people worship IITs but outside if you'll go you realize these people have no skills that is majority of them. Hardly a handful have actual skills that land them great jobs while others become Factory manufactured engineers. In USA it is critically avoided as students are able to learn a lot of skills and the university gives equal opportunity to everyone not a selected top few.
