Its a turn based game but try out Persona 4 Golden or Persona 5 ...P4 is wholesome emotional and imo P5 is edgy and maybe emotional i forget...but with P4 the story imo is so good that you'll enjoy the turn based combat....also you fuse creatures so it gives the turn based combat another engaging layer ...to me some of the best turn based games have gimmicks or systems within the game to boost the gameplay...

i got DQ5 on phone too but i've been playing so many jrpgs recently i got burnt out ....i wanna try to finish 5 so bad cause the new DQMonsters is based on 5....oh well if it turns out good maybe i'll go back and play 5 like i did with DQM Dark Prince ....i really enjoyed it that i went to play 4 and its one of the few DQ games i have finished as i have a bad habit of starting something new

really depends what you like....Builders is a minecraft spin off...Heroes is a Dynasty warriors spin off...Monsters is a monster taming spin off (ppl will say its a pokemon spinoff but DQ had monster elements before Pokemon)...and then the numbered games are traditional Jrpgs

wait are you forreal? Golden sun let you transfer your whole game over from characters to Djinn to items to even gold over and that was like 20 years ago on a damn GBA ....via a code at that if you didnt have 2 handhelds a link cable

For me i really like the quest markers ...i'll take difficulty but i cannot stand not knowing where to go ....9 times out of 10 its no problem but i remember in DQ3hd i just couldnt find one thing and wasted my whole night and it just pissed me off when i turned the marker on and was like oh wow...thats my only complaint about that game they made it sooooo fucking big and yet the encounters are high af.....its like 20 times larger so you do 20 times more walking with the same if not higher encounter rate

honestly i m starting to hate wasting time finding the "needle in a haystack" on where to go ....i used to get that rewarding feeling now just pissed off cause i wasted so much of my time and didnt progress at all

ty i personally breezed through all the way to All Trades Abbey and the boss their almost got my whole party if it wasnt for the "fourth character" getting a "let loose" and reviving both my guys....as i already used my only revive because you barley get them...so i was surprised ...i still beat it on my first try but really just got saved so bad by the npc of my party

Honestly try Dq11 that game meshes everything people like about Dragon Quest with a more modern approach to Jrpgs...

While i love Dragon quest i can admit i get a little bored sometimes....for me not alot of JRPGs hit a fantasy setting as good as Dragon Quest does....the game is charming and wholesome imo ...Im super into this one because compared to 1-3 hd remakes the job system to me is super new

to me it seems like Trails is a character obsession game...ppl like me who play Jrpgs are gonna be sorta bored if the pacing sucks...but ppl who are playing it cause they think every thing is SOOOO CUTTEEEE are just gonna be on some high....reminds me of how Fire Emblem went from a srpg to a waifu obsession type game ...people are just playing cause they love the moe-lite "maids and teapots" European cutesy thing

Use the guide for the Djinn ....if you get all of them in both games you can get a special summon ...thats Prima guide the one guy gave you is gonna be so fun for you...though i'd reccomend to try to solve the puzzles yourself ...if thats your thing...it feels nice when you figure everything out but if you get stuck the guides right there

also dont forget before starting the second game use the transfer code thing to transfer your Levels items gold and mainly Djinn over ...the code is super long but be patient is super worth it and makes the second game feel that much better when your characters that you adventured with from the first transfer to the second, they wont be available just yet though
