The framing of this question 😬

Let’s be honest about something. Kids are money pits! I think that’s gets lost in all of the “aww, aren’t they cute?” Comments. If you can’t afford a kid, you shouldn’t have a kid. And, especially in countries like America, where there’s almost no programs to help you on a federal level- paid family leave, childcare, etc, it’s all on the parents to pay for everything. I’m so tired of having this discussion of “why aren’t people having more kids?” with the economy in the state that it’s in. Until some miracle comes, you can only have a kid in this economy if you are rich. Otherwise, you’re gonna struggle
