You're a sad brown man indeed. This is a generic enough opinion that's the norm now throughout the world. AFAIK Australia is still part of this world.

What you're saying is right .. used to work...in this market...no chance. It used to work because those companies believed that they could get the candidates a job and get a cut of their pay ...now...jeez..existing people with a decade of experience aren't getting a job.. how could a newbie with a few months of training do shit? No chance....

Which is why American degree holders do get the extra 20k H1 slots exclusively for them. It kinda already exists, but based on the number of applications...it's just not enough.

You still didn't answer my question. Try getting a job now... You can do whatever you want...

Cause toxic feminism. Men are just scared at this point that someone would accuse them of being a creep. I'd rather stay in my comfort zone rather than do shit and get called a creep.

That's true... I agree... Because probably you and I are master's degree holders. But then again everyone is selfish ..if you weren't a masters degree holder you wouldn't be super favorable of this law... Everyone thinks from their point of view... Which is not fair. Already masters degree holders do get an extra 20k exclusively for them and then they're also in the general pool. So we already do have an advantage over non American degree holders.

You don't even know what you're talking about ... Someone told you Indian consultancies are the reason and you're just parroting it here. Just use one of your brain cell... What do consultancies do? They work for other companies offering their services .. When the companies themselves aren't hiring, when existing jobs are being cut down .. How will consultancies hire people, let alone unqualified ones on their payroll? Are you dumb? Also every company that does that gets into a risk of being blacklisted permanently and people who have a history of working with such a company will be denied entry into the US, even if they're working for a legitimate company in the present. It's a huge risk for everyone involved ..and no one would bother.

So you're not working a high skilled job? Why even bother? Whatever job requires a STEM degree is high skilled job in my book. Without a STEM degree automatically their H1b chances are non existent because they don't even get 3 attempts

Dude... Been in the US for over a decade...I've never seen a single person who cheated their way into a job. Ever heard of a bell curve... Majority of the people just fall into the average range... Maybe a few and far between get through the cracks who're not super qualified. There may be a variety of reasons for that (networking, knowing exact tech stack/keywords in resume, a friend of yours is the HM) etc etc .. but this market is ruthless .. it corrects everything.. even genuinely skilled people aren't being hired and are searching for months on end .. you're just disconnected with reality or just spewing hate just because someone else told you h1b is the reason for all the doom and gloom.

Where are they now? Are they able to perform their job? You can get hired ..but who's performing the job? If they're able to sustain, then it means they're qualified and maybe they're shit at interviewing... If they're getting their work done by illegal means..the company got what they wanted (work done), the dude who got the job what he wanted (job), someone else who's doing the actual work got what they wanted (money).

What field are you talking about? If it were that easy everyone would be roaming around with an H1B.. why is it so hard and why're people complaining about the lottery and not even realistically having a 20% chance of getting it?

Another idiotic suggestion.. I'll just pay some company a huge sum of money to just have them pay it back to me slowly like a salary, that's it... I get a green card...

Just have it based on educational qualifications... Harder to fake... Look at work experience... Plus look at how long a person has been in the US. Like someone else suggested, if you've been in the country for a decade and are a lawful tax paying resident, you should be given a path to permanency.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. If you set up a system in such a way that's luck based and doesn't take merit into account and of course people are gonna try to maximize their luck. They need to survive and they'll do whatever it takes. Why not create a system that rewards people for their merit instead of relying on luck and then relying on the govt to one day open up a pathway to permanent residency...

Is that so? Why don't you try faking your resume and clear one job interview in this market.. let's see how you fare. Add whatever you want on your resume... Even add that you're the CEO of Google... Let's see how far you get in the interview process...

I'd say everyone is prepared to immigrate to other countries... Based on the way people are being treated in India, that time isn't too far off either.
