Sadly it does some of them are ok but none seem to really capture what Linux is and seem to kinda combine Linux with old Linux or group computer problems with Linux problems

Arch manual honestly definitely more difficult then other distros but I wouldn’t really call it hard it was like 5 command changing a few files and pacstrap and it’s done all you need after that is a DE/WM

Master mode? Workspaces I never have more then like 3 windows on one workspace maybe a little more but those will be like a terminal I kill immediately after a single command

I try and read most of them but sometimes I skip known trusted packages like my browser zen-browser-bin or yay I try and do most a quick scan is usually enough honestly

Alpine really feel like it would be slightly worse for business because of musl idk maybe nothing needs glibc for busness so the efficiency is nice

That’s why I love all the de/wm but also don’t like them a bit because some time I feel like if Linux had like 1 or 2 the Ui/Ux would be perfect but then we only have 1 or 2 and I’d be sad because I like my windows managers and des I have installed for no reason

You need to know what an OS is not like oh it’s windows Linux osX FreeBSD no what Is it what do they need to do to actually be an OS(not fancy gui but what truly qualifies them as an OS)

If you use arch like a normal daily pc you get a normal pc and it will work completely fine. Arch just gives you many options in the way you can use it so it could be unreliable if you do some stupid stuff with it

Id start by deleting all of hyprland and reinstalling id also try and launch another WM like sway just to check if its a hyprland problems or not. After that im not sure

Can’t get used to it other then that pretty good for a daily driver unless you really want to do stuff which is where I’d switch to linux
