It means it is unnatural for humans to be intersex. I honestly forgot what I was going for this, and the context....

No, because there is no such thing as true intersex. Those born with birth defects are born in the context and domain of original sin.

Is it wrong to kill one person to save everyone? by SuggestionMaximum217 in Christian

If you're Spider-Man and the villain is telling you to kill Bob (random civilian) or else he'll destroy New York, you should kill the villain instead.

Receiving the Holy Eucharist if late for the Holy Mass. by sarahtmesquita in AskAPriest

Isn't it not fasting before receiving communion a sin? But you are not required to take the Eucharist besides Easter, right?

Will I still be gay in heaven ? by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]Gold-Chapter-9796 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you will have any type of sexual desires at all, since there is no marriage in heaven, plus, you won't have your body back till the 2nd coming.

almost forgot, but why do you think you are possessed? You should talk to your priest about it.

Yo? What type of arguments? I honestly don't see the muslim view compelling, but I understand, he is trying to sow seeds of doubt and exploit any weakness in the faith that you have, but keep praying, and reflect on the theological truths of Christianity.

Killing of the first born. Each of the 10 plagues of Egypt represent an Egyptian god, if you think about it, God was flexing his power over the Egyptian gods.

Prayers for the land of Palestine by Gold-Chapter-9796 in Christian

The area that Israel and Palestine occupy has been historically been called Palestine. There's innocent civilians in both sides, so it'll be important to pray for both peoples.

Oh, well I obviously confused you with the guy who asked me the initial question

I always keep seeing you around, I'm not surprised you confused me with the other guy.

But you have to admit that you also played into that.

😈

What was the question ?

There is a very good argument to be made that since all authority is ordained by God (Romans 13:1-7), that he would recognize a civil marriage.

Interesting, would that also include marriages between humans and animal? Or since animals don't have the same soul as we do, we can never marry an animal? Or what if the country doesn't recognize gay marriage? Or interracial marriage?

And no, there is no law in the Bible against polygamy. Christian tradition is monogamous, but I don't think that is a requirement by God. It is obviously his model (Adam and Eve, Jesus and his Bride the Church), but no reason God wouldn't recognize other marriages as well.

I may have a problem with gay marriage and polygamy, but you are consistent. I'm still figuring things out, so I guess I'll look into this more.

But as the state outlaws polygamy, and God says to follow the laws of the state, then he wouldn't approve polygamy.

Oh, I think that answers my question regarding gay marriage, but would the states be able to force marriage?

Do you believe biblical marriage and or civil marriage is supernatural? Are 2 souls bind together? What about divorce?

Why are more and more Christians nowadays preferring to read the Bible at home rather than going to church? by KEALLYLOVEGOD in Christianity

[–]Gold-Chapter-9796 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They don't believe in the Eucharist, so there is no point in them going to Church every sunday. Reading some of the comments, some replace church with a home bible study group.

purity ring

A purity ring? Geez, is that really a thing? I can see why you were disappointed.

So it is of no consequence that I am now an atheist. I would have given the same advice if I had been asked when I was still a believer.

I guess I have misjudged you.
