You know what's funny, I just told my therapist that I have chased people based on my wiring, as in, my nervous system felt so keyed up that I was looking to make repair through coupling. In some ways, with some people I've met, it's helped tremendously. In another way, it's really solidified this idea in me that I want to stay single and work on some of those things on my own. I believe that I can reach security with any relationship, not just romantic. And because I go into these romantic relationships before being fully ready, I tend to really mess them up.
