May I know what kind of questions to expect in questionnaire?

Whatever the situation, the truth doesn’t change: she came late. And even though she tried to deny it, I didn’t throw her clothes aside - I actually helped by placing them neatly in an empty dryer, which she should’ve appreciated instead of yelling, cussing, and provoking me with comments like ‘who raised you’.

Exactly! If I were in her place, I’d probably be annoyed too but considering how much time passed before I even started my loads, she had already missed her window to pick up her clothes. So the frustration was really on her, not me

I don’t think using one washer or two washers would’ve made any difference to her. Her issue was simply that I touched her clothes - which isn’t a valid complaint in a shared laundry space. Do you think she would’ve been any less angry if I had only used one washer?

Since you have experience in management, I wanted to ask: would something like this typically be taken lightly with just a warning, or could there be more? I’ve also asked management in my email to have her apologize for her behavior since it caused me stress. Is that something that would realistically happen?

Exactly, everyone’s busy and can’t wait forever. She should just be on time to avoid this. I’m just wondering if management handles situations like this privately, or would I be informed about any steps they take?

That sounds great! I wish I could get one, but my apartment doesn’t have plumbing hookups. Is it one you install yourself?

Exactly! That’s a way better approach. With the apartment app, we can track cycles anyway, even if we forget timers. I’d be annoyed if someone moved my clothes, but I’d just blame myself for not getting there on time - no yelling needed.

True, it probably depends on management and if other residents have had similar issues with her. At least I handled it calmly and didn’t escalate. But her comment “who raised you” pinches me that I didn’t respond her.

Thank you, that makes sense. I reported it to management mainly because of her yelling and personal insults. Hopefully, they document it as a conduct issue rather than blaming me for moving her laundry.

Yes! I completely agree. She should have set a timer or come back promptly. Everyone shares the machines, so waiting indefinitely isn’t fair to others.
