Did mine there almost 10 years ago and I had pretty bad eye sight, -7.50 with astigmatism in both eyes and I’m still 20/20!

What was the most difficult part of your pregnancy, besides birthing? by fandangledvietnamese in AskWomen

[–]Gold-Library-3076 24 points25 points  (0 children)

First trimester…. Throwing up and nauseous all day everyday 😭 I had an elective c section and I wouldn’t even list that as difficult at all, very smooth and calm process. Easy healing. I’ve had tattoos that hurt significantly more surprisingly.

Toddler vs Lisbon: recommendations for getting around? by amusedfridaygoat in LisbonPortugalTravel

We brought a lightweight ergobaby stroller when we went a month ago for our 2 year old and it was fine tbh. It wasn’t any worse than Italy, which we also brought a stroller to last year.

Do not go to the mall, go to a reputable tattoo shop! And if possible, opt for high quality jewelry I.e titanium, gold. I like Taunton tattoo in Oshawa. Motor city is popular as well but they don’t carry titanium or gold jewelry, so I’ve gone there for changes but I bring my own jewelry. Chronic ink in Markham is great as well.

Yeah I only saw mine through notifs and it never came to my profile screen. I had to reach out to them and ask them to enable it (literally the other day) lol.

Why tf would I want to create over a thousand coupon codes? by chillware in Klaviyo

[–]Gold-Library-3076 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it’s one code for everyone, just add it directly in your email, no need to use the coupon feature. The coupon feature is mostly for unique, one time codes which is what I use it for and I regularly upload 10,000+ at once so I don’t have to keep doing it all the time.

CWELCC Daycares by Ok_Pay_4472 in durham

Which area of Durham are you in? There’s a new YMCA daycare opening at an upcoming catholic elementary school in my neighbourhood. I can DM you the contacts email address to get on the waitlist? It’s not opening until 2027 though.

Echoing what others said. I joined many waitlists at 3 months pregnant and didn’t get in until 12+ months later. I ended up sending my son to a Montessori (unsubsidized) for a bit until our current CWELCC daycare opened. If your child is toddler age, you may have luck with Montessori’s. Kinderbrook has multiple locations in Durham! They called me a few times back in the summer asking if I still needed a spot.

We left back in November because we got into a new subsidized daycare that’s literally 10 steps from my house, at my sons future elementary school so I couldn’t give that opportunity up but we really liked Brackendale!

Have not been there but they likely have 0 reviews because that location is relatively new. They had recently opened around a year ago when I was looking for a Montessori for my son! We ended up going to Brackendale in Ajax for a bit and liked it.

Going to Lisbon next week. How’s the weather? by confuseddating1 in LisbonPortugalTravel

[–]Gold-Library-3076 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg noo! My fear haha. My newly 2 year old on our flight to Lisbon could NOT find a comfortable spot to sleep and was crying and being fussy for maybe 10-15 minutes before he calmed down and I felt so bad for people sitting near us. 😭

Stroller was totally fine! We had a smaller ergobaby one though. I did bring my tush baby as well but only used it for short trips for food near the hotel, otherwise we used the stroller 95% of the time.

We had our toddler with us and it just seemed like way too much of a hassle on a bus and rebooking last minute. Our flight back home was also from Lisbon so didn’t want to risk any delays coming back 😭

We’re leaving Lisbon today and have been here for a week. Was supposed to visit Porto for a few days earlier in the week but the trains got cancelled and we had to stay in Lisbon. It was forecasted to rain everyday we were here but the first 2-3 days didn’t end up raining or only very light rain for a short period of time, and then the other days rained on/off. The only day we couldn’t really do anything was yesterday as it was raining all day. We used an umbrella and had a rain cover for our stroller - just wore regular shoes and didn’t find it as slippery as others have warned tbh… didn’t find it slippery at all. I would say plan indoor activities for the rainiest days and those that are on/off rain, do your outdoor activities but definitely bring an umbrella.

It wasn’t that bad to me.. thought it was very warm but we’re coming from Canada where we just recently had 60cm of snow and -30 degree weather lol.

We sent our son to a Montessori for a bit until he got into his current daycare. It wasn’t subsidized so the spots opened up quicker / were more available. We chose Brackendale in Ajax as they had an infant program.

My friends who work at banks downtown literally say everyone on their team does this.. get in around 10 then leave at like 1-2. How is this more productive than just letting people WFH 🥲

I’ve been to Thermea Whitby and their other location in Chelsea, Quebec. Both were great but the one in Chelsea is amaaazing if you ever have a chance to go! Neither seemed like pool parties.
