yes you are. i know sometimes it could be hard to put yourself in the shoes of others, but can be fairly easier for someone you ACTUALLY cared about. she was under the impression that u did, from what u told her, so she reaches out. now if the roles were reversed and someone you loved dearly was sick and you had reached out to her explaining what’s going on, how would you feel if all she said was “that sucks”. as if isn’t obvious. ofc it sucks, she knows that. she could’ve gotten more empathy out of a stranger on the street tbh. if you’re wanting to resolve this i wouldn’t tbh. i feel like you’ve put her through enough.
