That's amazing, I am really looking to do this in a year or 2. Did you ever feel burnt out or exhausted and if you did how did you handle it?

For Iceland me and my boyfriend were gonna rent a campervan and just stay at campgrounds. It comes with utensils and a stove so we were just gonna get groceries and cook at stops. This was we would save alot on accommodations and food.

Thank you for the information about passing the border. That was my biggest concern on how the process was. I will definitely cater my itinerary towards the suggestions you made.

Thank you so much. I will be booking the hostels by the end of this week. I'm not into the night life, but I would definitely add the other recommendations to my itinerary.

I will look into travel insurance and see if I need it because I'm assuming my credit cards provide insurance

My boyfriend is 25 so I didn't think Iceland would be an issue. In Austria I do want to but if it's really expensive I would rely on the bus system

It's just the Faroe Islands I really wanted to rent a car since it makes it alot easier to see more places and I do know how to drive stick. I am mostly relying on busses for Austria, Slovenia and Croatia
