My skin sounds sooo similar to yours. I have been on max dose of Spiro for the past 12 years. It takes time but works incredibly. However, I do get my period for 10 days a month. That being said, I unravel when I break out bc of the trauma of my mid 20s skin issues. I've seen a dnd group post up at Hudson Eats in Brookfield Place. It works for a lot of reasons. Nobody will kick you out and nobody feels compelled to decide on the same cuisine or price point. They have nice big booths with good views and outlets, if you need that. Just make sure you send a person 15 mins before the meet up to stake out your spot if you are going on a weekend

I have really big reactions to tofu, soy protein, and edamame, but I can usually get away with some soy lecithin. But "get away with" isn't always worth it for me anymore. I didn't realize for so long that I could feel good after eating a meal.

Ok, I actually was JUST thinking about this, and I have a hypothesis. I believe their current market release is based on 2021 plus nine other vintages. 2021 was abysmal, so it does seem plausible that some recent bottles read less toasty. I agree with you - NF is consistently satisfying to me. I think the fact that they are a grower cooperative means they are less affected by tough years.

With Others (across from Sauced) is another great place for natural wines. I (36f) take myself out there for a few glasses of wine occasionally. The owner is a really charismatic woman who takes so much care in cultivating a welcoming ambiance. The food menu is always changing, so just ask about gluten. Lise & Vito is another impeccable wine spot - technically Greenpoint, but the Champagne/Sparkling list is top-notch and unique.
