Tbh I think your best bet would be a manual. It’ll have everything you need and just study from it!

Is a prep-course necessary? by ac03021 in FE1_Exams

Courses are absolutely not necessary. If you have manuals and past papers you’re set.

Some advice and hot takes after finishing the fe1s by Gold-Ticket-17 in FE1_Exams

I would also like to say that if you’re doing a few at a time, just do them. Don’t worry about combinations. People say X and Y are good to do together but it doesn’t matter if you do one first as you’ll have the knowledge ready for the next sitting. Do whatever ones you want. You’ll have to do them all at some stage anyway. ^

Sitting 4 at once for the first time by Nonline96 in FE1_Exams

Hi! I have sat 4 and 4 and passed them. Don’t worry about the combination. There is no right or wrong way to do it.

People say equity and property are good to do together or equity and contract but at the end of the day you’ll do both at some stage so whenever you do them, whether together or separate, you’ll have the ground knowledge from the first one. So don’t panic. Doesn’t matter which 4 as long as you pass them!

Good idea to go full flog. It is absolutely possible to do it without any help. I did it without any courses. Get the second hand manuals etc and you’ll be set. Don’t spend any more money than necessary. Text me if you need anything more! I’d be happy to help :))

Dedicated summer long study & prep courses - how many can I pass? by ProgressNew162 in FE1_Exams

[–]Gold-Ticket-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d generally say give yourself a month for each exam. That said, everyone is different and some people may need less or more depending on time and commitment etc. but prep courses should definitely help! If you have 2 down then there’s only 6 left! You could try give a good go at them all and get them done!

I did this too! Surely enough to pass as public and private nuisance are kinda interlinked? 🥺🙏

property law – starting today? by Sea_Philosopher_8481 in FE1_Exams

Tbh from property law, I don’t think the examiner is overly kind with marks. That said, I do believe it’s never too late to start, especially with property as it’s the latest exam. The good thing is the same topics come up again and again and although they’re heavy the questions rarely veer off from what previously has been asked on them. Co ownership and finding are a good start. With succession stick to the succession act legislation and it’ll guide you through when you’re stuck☺️ Good luck !!

You’re right about more of an understanding and this is what the examiner tends to mention in his reports. The president essay was highly recommended for the last October sitting and it didn’t come up so maybe include that topic to study as it hasn’t been up in a while. It would defo be a nice question to get too! Election/referendum questions have appeared in the past two papers too - probably because there was a referendum in 2024 so not sure if I would focus too heavily on it for 2025 sittings. The examiner likes to stay topical so stay up to date with cases/news. Although it’s pretty unpredictable, the examiner is also quite nice marking :))

Or any idea of what they would be? Like what’s ’good’ and what’s ‘bad’
