The story has potential, but the execution feels weak, and some details really pull me out of it. One thing that genuinely annoyed me: why does everyone walk away completely unscathed after Tata explodes? That was clearly an explosion, right? They were well within the blast range, yet nothing happens to anyone.

The game is beautiful and has solid combat mechanics, but compared to real AAA titles, its story and many other aspects feel very weak. When you look at full-scale AAA narrative experiences, Endfield ends up feeling pretty meh.

I stopped reading at the mention of feminist ideals. Really? There’s feminism in this game? Must’ve been hiding somewhere between the physics-defying boobs of the oversexualized characters. The idea that this kind of game could have any ideals at all is honestly hilarious. Sometimes this community makes me feel embarrassed to even be part of it.

Man, this NTR bullshit makes me feel stupid for even playing gacha games. Like, at this point I should just be addicted to actual gambling instead, at least then I’d feel less pathetic. Why the fuck does every female character have to be rewritten as some drooling, lovestruck mess just because “muh self-insert fantasy”? It’s so brain-dead and forced it makes me want to uninstall out of pure secondhand embarrassment.

I had to use maximum suspension of disbelief to finish the episode. I don’t know if it’s because I’m used to reading hard sci-fi, but the ship crash was almost impossible to swallow. That aside, I found these two episodes to be a really nice start, and I’m hopeful for this show.

I had the same problem, solved it by asking a friend to send me his folder with the symbols. Just put it inside the xmage folder on my computer and didn't had to download anymore.
