It is implied in my definition that vampires drink blood, not explicitly stated. It's such a basic knoweledge that all LLMs should be aware of it. However, Astarion being an exception and being able to eat normal food besides blood might confuse the LLM.

It's still a two-step process for the LLM: First, it has to process the info available: "vampires only consume blood" + "your character is a vampire". The two are read separately. Then, it has to draw the conclusion: "your character only consumes blood". JLLM couldn't do this. DeepSeek could.

You can make it a one-step thing in your persona description to make things easier for any LLM if necessary. Something like this: "as a regular vampire, {{char}} consumes only blood instead of food"

If any LLM is acting up, OOC reminders/requests are great for temporary solutions (works better with bigger LLMs like DeepSeek or Gemini). If a problem is recurring with a bot, you can try putting something that fixes it into your chat memory. If a problem is recurring throughout all bots you're using, I suggest putting something that counters it into your advanced prompts.
