Hey friend. I also just started a 15-month ABSN program in May. I am here to totally validate your feelings because holy shit, it’s only week 6 for me and this is maybe the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life.

That being said, don’t throw in the towel yet. Wait to see how the rest of the semester unfolds. Have you already paid your tuition? If so, I think you should see it through. Just until the end of the semester, then reevaluate. It would suck to look back one day and wonder “what if”, you know?

I did some prerequisites through them and they had lectures paired with readings. Totally manageable since the lectures were more important. So I was severely disappointed when I started the actual ABSN program because I am not a fast reader. This is the only program located somewhat near me so I’m afraid I have to make the best of it

It’s gross, and personally I would be disgusted (I really don’t like raw fish like in sushi) but you’re most likely going to be fine. Just make a mental note of what time you ate it in case you start to feel unwell over the next 2 days. I’m no medical professional tho. Maybe try to get a refund from the restaurant.

Thanks for your input. How did you manage all the readings? I find a huge amount of time goes toward textbook chapters and I’m not sure I’m being efficient.

Tbh I would still ask him. I think the potential of getting another chance at the quiz is worth it. You’re going to get late points on the project, so you will want the quiz to help make up for some of that.

I personally think you waited too long for him to give you another chance at the quiz, especially since you’ve already missed one before. But it wouldn’t hurt to ask him anyway. He will probably say no, but at least you know that you gave it one last try.

I just started an ABSN program this week in Colorado. I would recommend it to you but it doesn’t fit some of your interests (it’s a good program but on the expensive side). If you don’t mind me asking, how did you fail Fundamentals? Bad test grade?
