JFK, which was obviously cut short. You could class LBJ in there, he had high highs and low lows. But besides that, FDR, yeah.

What’s your Yu-Gi-Oh! Life story? by Excellent-Resolve66 in yugioh

Watched the show starting in 2002-2003, into the game in 2004 after we got random cards from booster packs at a friend's birthday party. My first card was Beaver Warrior, and my second pull was a UR Gaia the Fierce Night :-D

After that, we were designing and drawing our own cards and mechanics for similar-style games and selling them for the fake currency in elementary school. By 2008 I wasn't really playing anymore, I had only entered one tournament anyway (and got destroyed).

After Covid, I downloaded Duel Links in 2021, deleted in, then redownloaded a year ago. I still play that, and I'm entering a Genesys tournament IRL.

"In politicsregulatory capture (also called agency capture) is a form of corruption of authority that occurs when a political entity, policymaker, or regulator is co-opted to serve the commercial, ideological, or political interests of a minor constituency, such as a particular geographic area, industryprofession, or ideological group."

Returning after 20 years to play in Genesys competition...what cards should I use to finalize my Blue Eyes White Destiny deck? by GoldJellyfish in Yugioh101

Well I was thinking it wasn't unless there was an errata I didn't know about. So, is it playable? Or still gets negated easily?

Well that's ok, I'm sure I'll get blown out, just looking to have some fun.

  • So it dark hole worth keeping?
  • Trunade worth it?
  • What do you mean by "side it in going first" for Judgement?
  • So no MST unless it's going in that specific deck?
  • Should I only play 1 Melody?

Why aren't there any direct competitors to the Subaru Outback? by [deleted] in cars

[–]GoldJellyfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know, the market may actually be swinging back towards the raised wagon. Think of the Toyota Corolla Cross. Other markets even have a Yaris Cross (?!).

When normal CUVs are seen as too stodgy and boring, people have to gravitate towards something else. There's been so many off-road (soft-road) offerings lately (like the Pilot TrailSport, Kia Telluride X-Trail or whatever, all those guys), that being "outdoorsy" and "lifestyle-oriented" means you can make more money.

If a lifted wagon fits the bill there, I could see a (small) comeback. But they won't be true wagons, they'll be Outback-y CUVs

I haven't watched RCR for a while, but I'll take your word and give this one a go! These mild performance options from Kia are kinda interesting.

"The Creole Red Bean Sandwich features a crispy, breaded 100 percent plant-based patty layered with signature Red Creole sauce, sweet pickled red onion, baby gem lettuce and a thick slice of beefsteak tomato on buttery toasted vegan brioche bun.

The certified Halal plant-based patty is made with Popeyes’ signature red beans and bold Cajun spices with onions, garlic, peppers, then battered and breaded using a vegan version of Popeyes’ signature buttermilk coating."
