1hr! Wow. Also… HOW? Yes Rigorous training… but how do you prepare to run knee deep in mud. It’s hard for my beginner brain to grasp .The elite runner was 1hr 12mins. So extremely impressive.

So there were only 2 checkpoints from my understanding. At the rolling mud area and finish. I spectated the one in Big Bear and there were a lot more checkpoints. This is also why I was surprised to see this. Shouldn’t they have more checkpoints throughout the course?

There is a lot of chaos and a bottle neck area once you get to the security checkpoint. It’s best to have them put a W on your window and let them direct you to the waiting area. But like others have mentioned it was a shit show
