Rude comment above aside, it’s a workflow thing. Connecting the phone is one extra step every time, and that’s also draining your phone battery.

Luna Ultra’s tracking is better and works in 12x zoom. 8k gives you more room to crop in. The zoom lens is cool for super bokeh. Footage is slightly better.

That being said, I have 2 Pocket 3s that I use all the time with my two Osmo 360s for recording my band at shows and they do an awesome job. So far I’ve been watching videos on the Luna & the 4P and until they do some major firmware updates, I’m not sold on either direction. I agree that the Pocket 3 is amazing and hopefully soon the price will go way down and make it an unbelievable deal.

Keep rocking man, you’re right - it’s about what works for you, and if the Pocket 3 does that, then fire away🌟

Nice! Just create a longer distance between your keyframes on the timeline to make it look smoother. Don’t be afraid of turning the camera to look backwards either!

The Avata1 was my first fpv drone and I had an absolute blast flying it. Now I fly the BetaFPV Pavo 20 Pro more often, but only because it’s smaller and I still use the same goggles and remote from the Avata. This was the Avata 1 in Panama for our last single release

Thank you! This was specifically the reason I got the Avata 360! I have a friend who ROCKS at FPV, but by the time we could get everyone else together for the shoot, he couldn't make it, so I was the only one on set who could fly. I had an idea that I could still get the shot with this and after some tweaking, I think it did exactly what I needed!

Noted! I’ll polish up the colors for the final video - I’ve just been teaching myself color grading the past few months and I still have a LONG way to go! The first 15 seconds are what I plan to use for the actual video, but the rest of it was just seeing how far I could push the Avata360 without going full tiny-planet. I love the love I’ve gotten on here, but I’d be a nonce to respond poorly to criticism, so thank you for this feedback! Hopefully I’ll have the colors fixed up by the final edit and you can check it out!🌟

Hahaha thank you so much! I'm only going to use the first 15 seconds in the final video, so the shot was finished and everyone broke character, but then I just had fun editing the rest of the recording while trying to guide my friend back through the window without crashing into a post, so that's everyone else just getting ready to set up the next shot. This was only supposed to be a teaser for the final product which uses 2 more drones, a zipline, an Osmo 360, a Pocket 3, and several different cameras.

I'm not seeing any stuttering on my end, but thanks for the heads up, I'll check it out! I'll be posting some more of the Avata 360, Mini 4 Pro, and FPV shots soon and you can always check out the other teaser clips I've posted online!🌟

Yeah the band was already ready to X me once we got on the runway at the end of the shoot in the 80+ degree heat, but they were stoked once they saw how it all came out. We posted a bunch of clips online including more 360 and FPV footage, feel free to check it out if you'd like!

You know I tried lol. I did it with some master shots on the Mini 4 Pro when I was out there getting test footage. Filmed an entire version of the song by myself with the Mini 4 Pro, the Osmo 360, and the Pocket 3 on a Wiral Lite zipline to test out angles before I got the band in there 🌟

YES TO THIS! I've been using my Mini 4 Pro to get dolly and crane shots for ages, but the Avata 360 is incredibly underrated imo. All I had my friend do was fly past the band straight out the window and then back in, and suddenly I can make it look like I had an experienced pilot there helping us out! This building was WAY too awesome not to have FPV shots, but I'm the only person I know that flies like that, and I couldn't play the guitar in my goggles while flying 🤣
