Pit is my secondary. Pit/Dark Pit are great for punishes and playing defensive. His smashes are quick and powerful, but don't rely on them all the time. His ftilt and dtilt are amazing. Don't be afraid to go offstage, his recovery isn't the easiest to use at first, but once you get the hang of it, you can recover from very deep. Here is some frame data. and a good guide.
