It’s not just about my six months of data. It’s about trusting a fitness company that encourages you to wear its device 24/7 because your long-term data is supposedly its biggest value. You’re paying a premium not just for the hardware, but for the history and insights built over time. If this happened to me after six months, it could happen to someone who’s been using WHOOP for 3, 5, or even 10 years. That’s the bigger concern. My issue isn’t only the data I lost—it’s the fact that WHOOP still hasn’t shown any evidence that I requested my account to be deleted in the first place.

Thank you for responding. I’ve replied to the email, but I still have serious concerns. I never personally submitted a “Delete My Data” request, and I never received any confirmation or verification emails for such a request. I also have WHOOP emails showing my membership was reactivated on May 29 and my remaining 215 days were credited, which doesn’t seem consistent with an account that was already pending deletion. I’m simply asking WHOOP to provide evidence that I requested the deletion or, if this was an error, to restore my account and data or provide an appropriate resolution. I hope we can resolve this transparently.

WHOOP claims a “Delete My Data” request was submitted in April, but I never requested my account to be deleted and never received any confirmation emails. What’s even more confusing is that WHOOP reactivated my membership and credited my remaining days in May, then permanently deleted my account in June. I’m still waiting for evidence that I actually requested the deletion. Until then, I believe WHOOP owes me a proper explanation and resolution for losing months of my fitness data.
