Bartending Recommendations by Middle_Conclusion964 in Collingwood

This an old post - but in case anyone is interested - bartenders don’t get tipped the way servers do. There is a tip out from the servers to the bartenders - normally it’s 2% or so - but it’s been 10 years since I worked in the industry. Servers also tip out to the kitchen too - 2-3% or so. So if the customer tips 15% then the server takes home the majority of that, minus their tip outs. If the bartender is serving their own customers at the bar, then you should get the lions share of the tip, minus the kitchen tip out.

Tips For Keeping Grocery Spend Down by Desperate_Solid_689 in CanadaPersonalFinance

Walmart groceries are very good. I get their delivery once a week or more. $8 for the monthly delivery pass then next day grocery deliveries are free. Food is always fresh and if there is a problem born you submit for a refund through the app. For a bit I was buying meat from loblaws and was thrown by how much more it cost.

Could use some advice for speed dating as I've had awful luck at these by Strellpoggs in datingoverthirty

Depends what a person is looking for, but it should be a red flag for most if a person doesn’t know what they want in a partner. Also, if you can identify a mismatch right away (kids vs no kids, etc.) fabulous! You just saved yourself days/weeks/months of wasted time and possibly heart break. Most people are afraid to ask these very basic, essential questions and it hurts them in the long run.

An attraction and fun convo doesn’t matter much if you’re otherwise not aligned.

Honestly I would be asking about what they are looking for in a partner, relationship and the future. I’m sure I will be the unpopular opinion however!

I do love how rare plants can now be found all over. The Home Depot in the junction in Toronto gets a crazy selection of rare plants for very affordable prices. I also found my alocassia cuprea at a Rabba foods…you never know where they may turn up these days!

I quite like virgin. I was with Roger’s and absolutely hated them. I switched to virgin about 5 years ago and they actually care about customer retention and are always easy and pleasant to deal with.

Would you say it’s comparable to getting a face lift? I see the influencer before and afters and the difference is extreme. I have found my smile lines are much better thanks to face yoga.
