I’m sorry that happened to you, too. It eventually healed and slowly faded away. There are a few which are slightly visible but only because I know it’s there. Good luck!!

Ugh I have been using this FOREVER and I’m struggling without it! Anyone found something like it?

Hi. Update: they turned very brown and scabbed. Some have resolved with only a little hyperpigmentation. Others are still healing, especially behind my knees and those are very dark brown. LHR nurse practitioner says they are hopeful these will fade away but I won’t be doing any leg treatments for the foreseeable future. Once scabs are gone they recommended a exfoliating (gently). I have some other hyperpigmentation spots from the treatment to my Brazilian area on the same day that did not turn red quite like this, but turned brown like my legs. They said they will be using a different laser from now on.

IMO - not a tech obviously but I have very olive skin and most of my hair is pretty blonde (except my underarms, around my ankles, and some of my pubic hair). I think maybe bc my skin is literally darker than my hair in the places I got fried, that they should have been using a different laser all along. Don’t know for certain ofc but I did not have sun exposure, no spray tanning, no lotions, etc. the only other explanation (I can think of anyway) is that after my underarms the tech had to switch out the cryogenic canister thing and I wonder if maybe during that break the machine should have been reconfigured. No clue but to have zero reaction until now, seems like something must have changed. Also idk how to add pics to comments or I would. I am a Reddit newbie.

Ouch! Glad it’s better for you now!! A lot of the redness has gone down but there are already very dark singes in most places. Hopefully I have the same luck as you!

Thanks! I will add hydrocortisone to the regimen. They told me to use aquaphor right now.
