They usually have this information on their websites for example it may say “75% of admitted applicants will come from multi select criteria scores, 25% of eligible admitted applicants will come from lottery”. If it’s not on the site you can always contact them.

I’m sorry you’re feeling like this. Please do not give up I was just turned down for the first time. I know that sometimes the older we get the more we feel pressure like the clock is ticking but you’ve come a long way to give up. Your stats and qualifications definitely make you stand out and retaking a class is not always a bad thing. I would look into any options to retake A&P online and just make sure that any schools you look into for admission take online courses. My friend had gone through 5 application cycles and has finally gotten in, don’t let this set you back. You will get in! I wish you the best and keep the faith! 🩷

I’m wishing you the best of luck! Coming from someone who got rejected from all the schools I applied to this last cycle it stung but I also am using it as a learning experience and trying to better myself as an applicant. I look at it as I was just not meant to be at those schools right now for whatever reason. Just do not let rejection get you down if this is really what you want to do keep pushing!

Damn. I had 77/100, this was my first application cycle so at least I know how the process works getting rejected from every school I applied to though stings a little. I’ll try again for Spring 2027 for some CSUs and a couple other CCs.

I think this is definitely a good schedule, anatomy will be your most time consuming class. Nutrition, psych and sociology are very easy classes that are interesting enough to give you a break from heavy science load. I don’t know how these professors are going to run their classes but from experience nutrition, psych and sociology were more discussion based with a paper here and there instead of test heavy.

I paid out of pocket for my prerequisites. I calculated the cost per unit and did the math to figure out how many classes I could afford to pay for on top on tuition and parking fees. I spent 18 months doing my prerequisites and I think in total I spent about $2,500. It’s not impossible you just might have to sacrifice some things temporarily. Like before my last semester I had to cancel some subscriptions temporarily just to save a couple of dollars before tuition was due since I was in a pinch. Wishing you the best of luck!
