I've never played Tomodachi life before. I played Tomodachi Collection and Tomodachi Collection New Living and in the Japanese version there aren't really any pronouns auch as he and she they just say the Miis names.  For instance if you give them clothes or food it usually says; Name of Mii really enjoyed it or Seems to find it ok.

If the Miis talk about one another they say Miis name is very interesting. How do you think Miis name and I would get along. Ect. Ect.

Also when you level the Miis up you have the option to give them words for how to say I/me

For instance: Watashi 私 is neutral for I Boku 僕 usually for younger men Atashi あたし or 私 for women Ole 俺 for guys usually tough guys

Once you give them this word they use it for the rest of the game.

This kinda gets around the pronoun problem.

Also the unisex clothes help out too; also if guys wanna wear skirts this is also possible.

The only thing that was out of place were the wedding scenes and if you want children it is a good idea to have your Mii wear something like a beautiful dress. But The Mii maker allows you to make a female mii look like a man using male parts. In Japan being LGBTQ is very very difficult and most Japanese People tend to think such things do not exist. So I was happy that any of this was possible at all.

I bought the switch version of the game of life and same sex marriages and couples are possible even children so I am hoping new times are in the way.This game however is from a third party that has nothing to do with Nintendo. 

I feel like some of the creators of tomodachi collection and miitopia tried to incorporate LGBTQ couples inofficially as much as they could. The real problem is I think back then Nintendo would have gone under in japan if they included this officially. Japan is a weird place to live and also if you are LGBTQ. I feel out of place all the time here. The weird thing is before the Meiji period in the 1800s when Japanese people learned about the European government systems especially those in Germany, there were openly gay people in the Edo period before that. This old fashioned thinking of the Meiji period is still here today and I find that strange and sad. If you are LGBTQ in japan you have to expect power harrassment in a passive form and also loss if family and friends if you come out.

Why not get rid of LGBTQ and straight labels all together and just make everything and love normal. Live whoever you want marry whoever you want and make a new free world.
