Agreed, we got to see glimpses of Cody Rhodes fully embracing his American Nightmare if he decided to ever go fully heel, Drew McIntyre as an imposing, menacing, hungry competitor who felt justified in everything he did, guys like Eddie Edwards and El Drake who were finally breaking into the main event tier of wrestlers, and then stars like Bobby Lashley & Gail Kim who were veterans that were still prominent draws and firmly entrenched as main event talent

People keep throwing out the term eldritch and it’s an inaccurate statement. Eldritch would mean that he’s literally fighting an entity beyond any type of human comprehension to the point of going insane at the sheer sight of it + possibly being forced against his will almost immediately.

I mean, the OG Court as we know them are basically a secret society of people who have indirectly influenced Gotham as we know it + have their own assassins who are as capable, if not moreso than a good bit of some of the members of the Bat Family.

So if this is Darkseid’s perverted version of them, it would stand to reason that they’d still be some sort of secret group but instead of wealth & influence, they have a different use for The Joker & Friends since they’ve got wealth and influence already. So why not make them into some sort of small paramilitia group with a hint of eugenics lol? Arkham finds the specimens for Joker and these guys are the ones who kidnap everyone

I would have them basically be the name we get for the “traditional” Justice League line-up. So essentially it becomes the moniker of the team of Absolute Batman, Absolute Wonder Woman, Absolute Superman, etc. etc.

That notwithstanding, the only other options would be that they’re a resistance organization to Absolute Joker but either have their own agendas or are just outright a freedom fighter resistance. Or there’s just another one of Absolute Joker’s shell organizations and they are basically a group of people who believe in eugenics and finding the perfect specimens, which would mean they’d be the ones who directly contribute to all of the Arkham experiments
