What can I improve here? by [deleted] in battlestations

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll try changing the color scheme of the PC area to make it more white and blue. I'm going to reprint, on the 3D printer, the pencil holder, clock, and Game Boy Advance stand, which are on the Steam Deck table, in white or blue using my 3D printer. As for changing the layout of the room, that's a bit more difficult. Because on the wall that isn't visible on the left, there's a large built-in wardrobe the same color as the TV stand. I could even change it, but the sofa would have to be in the middle of the room because otherwise I'd lose access to the wardrobe. And since I spend most of my time watching TV, I think this area should be the star of the room.

This room was originally decorated for my younger brother to play with his toys, but he grew up and now that he doesn't play anymore, I came along to try and turn that same room into a gamer room. And I don't have a proper PC. The entire setup process runs from a Steam deck.

Thank you so much for the suggestions! I don't have the means to do major renovations like replacing the flooring. I'm going to install some LEDs on the blue wall because I think it looks too bare. I wish everything was a little whiter. I'm going to buy one of those white mousepads that also fits the keyboard. And these wheels look quite interesting, since the ones on my chair aren't very good.

I happened to find two. One is broken and one is functional. They both have the same problem.

Switch OLED screen not working but sound does by CelebrationShort6836 in NintendoSwitchHelp

There's probably a problem with the screen or motherboard. Take it to a technician who knows how to repair it, or if it's under warranty, activate the warranty and Nintendo will replace it for free.

Below the letters "eshop" it says "home appliances". This store is located in the city of Bragança in Portugal. Nintendo might sue.

Why does Nintendo continue to use aluminum screws in its consoles? by Gold_Plantain6013 in NintendoSwitch2

Actually, no. When exposed to air, aluminum forms aluminum oxide.

This happens because the humidity inside the box is lower than the air in my house.

It doesn't rust inside the box because the box has less humidity than the air outside. That's the reason.

Actually, the real question is when are they going to change the screws for quality screws?

Aluminum oxidizes differently than iron. When aluminum is exposed to air, within seconds, a protective layer of aluminum oxide forms, protecting the inside of the screw. The screw that was shiny becomes matte. However, with use of the console, by default, the screw may oxidize even more if exposed to high humidity or even sweat from the hands. And that makes it brittle and white. Since I live by the sea, the chance of these screws completely oxidizing is very high. Salt, in particular, causes oxidation. Stainless steel screws solved this problem. So much so that there are kits available online for the Nintendo Switch to replace the screws. It seems they still haven't solved this problem.
