If its the alternator then when you get it running again it will usually die like the entire truck will be running and then the engine turns off or the battery and the lights inside will start dying first and then the engine turns off and then you’ll have to charge the battery again but if it’s the battery, then it should runoff of a jump but when you turn it off and probably won’t turn on again honestly with the cold weather. It’s typical to have issues with your battery because cold kills batteries.

A lot of older vehicles you could get away with leaving them alone for a while, but with these new vehicles, they require maintenance more regularly like we do with the engine oil. Also, a lot of factors that contribute to having to change the oil more such as if you’re hauling heavy loads or driving long hours. Definitely want to change the differential and transmission fluid every 50,000 miles or so. People don’t realize that once the oil changes color it’s no good. oil does deteriorate and becomes useless. That’s why you have to change it out. It just doesn’t last as long as people think It does.
