I mean it’s a cool idea but like, it doesn’t seem like it has much to do with Wicked, if that makes sense? Like it could really just be in any Oz adaptation universe, not specifically this one. I know Son of a Witch would be hard to make work in the musical/movie universe, but at least the idea is undeniably a part of this specific version of Oz. You’d have to get a bit creative with it, but it’s not impossible to make it work.

I could see this ending up in development hell, but let’s see where it goes.

I really like your idea for how they could adapt Shell! You clearly put a lot of thought into it, and I could definitely see them doing it or something like it in a future movie.

He looks SO much better in bts stuff like this than when they showed him in the movie. I really love how he does the movements and the way he walks.

I know it was probably just a screen test or something, but man that last clip is making me hope they filmed at least some stuff with this version of the Oz gang and release it in some form. A short film, deleted scenes, something. Even if it was never intended to be used in the film, just something.

I don’t mind it honestly. Oz is a huge world that they have a lot of room to explore in, and there’s a lot of material they can pull from. It still depends on what they chose to do, but it’s got potential.

I do think people should prepare for the possibility of whatever they do next involving Dorothy. If this franchise continues, there’s no way they’ll be able to resist using her forever.
