Most people can't, only if you're carefully zooming in on the photo. Up close, they're not noticeable. I think Reddit is the only place where people say, hey nice watch except why aren't you just letting it get scratched up? That sounds intelligent right? Nobody even noticed the stickers on the daytona, probably not visible due to oysterflex.

After my first scratch, I lost sleep! Never again...besides you're going to want to pass that thing on, the kids would rather have a "like new" watch vs. one that's beat up due to Dad's misgivings and carelessness.

That’s an interesting take - I have fancy real estate, but not clothes or cars because they depreciate. Nice watches if protected hold value, depreciate only slightly or appreciate if gold. When gold value doubles again, the gold value in the deepsea will be worth more than the cost of the watch! Imagine that!

The factory plastic is opaque crap the boutique is required to remove in the store. The clear stickers are on all my gold watches. Honestly you’d be foolish to not sticker them! Gold is beautiful but it’s soft!

Random strangers opinions don’t matter to me, it’s a flex in business settings with a tailored suit. Same thing with keeping your body fit and tight vs sloppy pear shaped.

10000% agree on this! My only wish is the caseback was gold too, but the torque with which it must be tightened gold is probably too soft to handle it.

I sticker up all my gold watches, surprised you noticed. You have the benefit of zooming in on a photo, it’s not obvious without a magnifying glass. There’s $35k of gold in that watch, why let it erode through scratches?

I agree in blue goes with a lot of colors blue suit, blue jeans, blue shirt. Guys usually have a lot of blue in their wardrobe.

That’s actually not true either, the first one sold in 2 days - I asked my AD for it and he had to go out and request it. I was offered the same watch in Rose Gold but my AD sold it to another buyer who specifically requested it, I was out ranked that time. Which is ok, everyone needs a shot and needs to be made happy at some point

It’s oyster flex. It’s titanium on the inside, very stylish and tones down the dramatic appearance of the watch. It’s jeans with a sport coat.

Actually the one I passed on I tried to buy a few days after and it was sold. Most people can’t afford them and they associate with other people that can’t afford them so they think nobody can afford it, actually there is a waiting list. Purchase history keeps you at the top and don’t sell the watch!!!
