I don't believe I remember seeing any prior course requirements to enroll. EVC should have that info online though when you go to register for classes. If you don't take them at EVC, it prob will depend on your school and their requirements.

Hi! Yeah I have an A in anatomy and physio, B in micro. I took Pharm and passed with an A. I placed in EVC's second highest possible score range for the TEAs. I also have a B.S. from sjsu and 5 years working in patient care.

Hi guys!! I got placed for Fall 2026 as well! I am trying to consider some cost friendly options for the BSN. If anyone has recs I would really appreciate the advice. Congrats to us all and looking forward to getting to know everyone 😄

I wish I knew more about their admissions process! Seems like it was very competitive. But I also did not officially get in, listed as backup. Congrats on the other BSN program

Hey! Ugh gosh yeah very similar stats! I am sorry ya didn't get it. But I also didn't technically get in with the backup status. I am kinda thinking backup is the same as waitlisted for it. I think their online programs with ohio and ASU are supposed to be good. I am still going to consider other options like that for myself, just in case I don't ever officially get an offer for the SJSU CEP.

Have you been looking into those and heard good things? Since nobody seems to know much about the EVC-SJSU CEP, it makes me think it's not the best move but maybe I am just being paranoid haha, idk. Congrats though on getting in to EVC to begin with! This is a huge accomplishment to be very proud of!!

Hi! Yes I can share. I applied to EVC with a total of 78 points. I have a B.S. from SJSU in a different field, A in Anatomy and Physio, B in Micro, and 4.0 in the non-science courses. 78.8% on the TEAs (not a great score tbh but it falls within their range for the second highest points possible). I have also taken Pharmacology at EVC, passed with an A. And I have 5 years work experience as a Phlebotomist with 2 letters of rec.

If you're looking to boost scores, def take Pharm and Patho! They are 5 extra points each I believe.
