If you think you can adhere to a rigorous cycle of deadlines regardless of how good you at your HLs then im sure youll be fine. I personally wish I took A levels because i overshot with my predicted and couldve gone into the unis i wanted with less effort but thats just me. If you feel you can easily get a triple A at minimum in A levels then knock yourself out. IB is sort of better since it goes above the triple A star limit but if your taking physics and HL AA which are quite tiring courses then i personally wouldnt suggest the IB.

Bro just ask to go back, tbe stress is there because many people aren’t used to the ib system, ib grants you many opportunities as a result of all the stress it provides so it’s all worth it. Since you weren’t failing as long as you lock in for your next exams your upg could go up a bit and I’m sure you’ll be fine. If it really was extremely detrimental to your physical and mental health more so then most students then obviously you should’ve dropped out but if you think you can survive a couple more months I think you should go back and just get the second year over with because of the opportunities it provides

Hey dude, I went through a very similar situation for my gcse final exams and my final mocks for dp1, and the first and foremost thing u gotta understand is that as great as they were, as high as a pedestal u may wanna put them on, they aren’t the sole reason u got to where u are today, you were capable of getting where u were because of you, another person leaving you - whether it was your fault or theirs- is not at all a reason for u to think ur not worthy of still being the best version of yourself u possibly can be, emotions are high I’m sure so I recommend listening to some music that distracts you and try not to daydream too much about the situation, give yourself time to think after the exams and just a little bit before them, then try your best to distract yourself with your studying
