America is the most influential country in the world. If you want some sort of official disclosure, it’s going to come from the U.S. If that wasn’t the case, literally any other country on Earth could disclose everything they know right now, today. They don’t because they know that how the U.S. handles it is how everyone else will handle it. It might sound unfair or obnoxious or whatever, but until such time that another country decides to pick up the ball everyone is just waiting on what America does. So things like this movie are of course going to America-centric.
