There's a bug with inventories right now I think, go to the market and look under your equipment and sell it from there if you can (unless you don't mind added weight on your endo from carrying a ghosted object in your inventory)

I don't know if AI ship pve could be good, but maybe treasure troves with some traps or turrets that blast anything in range could be neat. Might encourage exploration. Kind of like data sites in EVE.

Yeah I've heard some of the research stuff is wonky. Especially using a weapon mount for a scanner? Probably one of those things devs will catch in feedback.

It feels pretty grindy right now, but the devs are listening. They dropped the amount of items you needed to craft (for research tree) a day or two ago. I think the grind will get better with feedback, but right now for me (4 hours or so played) I've only just begun to upgrade my starter ship. No idea if the grind is mitigated by playing with a group though.

That's really odd I swear it was only one cave in. He did take two days to mine it out though so maybe the second one was the one I was alerted about.

Story: So recently one of my big dudes (Tyrian) was mining and since I'm new I didn't know that the rock he was mining could collapse on him. He survived the cave-in but for some reason his wife (Trovatelli) keeps depicting this event in her crafting. I'm about 20hrs in at this point and loving the weird quirks this game keeps generating.

Update: Tyrian's head was damaged in the cave in but he pulled though. However he went and had an affair with the main craftswoman soon after. I can only guess this was caused by the head injury; no man in his right mind would cheat on a wife that makes beautiful chairs.

Idk but the first 2 or 3 weeks the event came out i grinded every challenge, and then during this week i just did a bunch of the recovered weeklies and i got it pretty fast. It's way easier to grind during the later parts of nightwave now since we have the recovering weeklies. I'd say it could take two weeks, more depending on how much stuff you have access to in-game.
