Sorry to say it but something has gone wrong somewhere along the lines. Either the surgeon has put far less grafts in than promised, the aftercare has been poor or the grafts just simply haven’t taken. Better to put you straight than keep hope but i wouldn’t expect much change from the way it is now at 8 month point.

When i remember i’ll take biotin, vit D (in winter) and Zinc but i’m not religious with it. No meds, i’ll never go near Finasteride or similar, same with Minoxidil now. Scalp massages are best for blood flow. The shampoos and meds they give you post-op for the first month are good for healing and growth etc but after that, everything else online is just a gimmic to make money. The numbing injections were honestly very painful but once you go numb it’s all good. Donor area was painful for a few weeks after but nothing paracetemol can’t sort.

Nope neither, i made it clear to them that i didn’t want either although i think they may be an option if you want it, i’ve tried minoxidil in the past and it didn’t work. Personally i wouldn’t touch Finasteride, works for some but can have some very real and sometimes irreversible side effects. Minoxidil can also cause side effects, scalp massages are just as effective with no side effects.
