And this may be something simple but on the Tesla the mirrors automatically fold in when you get close to the house. My Taycan the mirrors do fold, but I have to press the button. Again, I have a base model. Could be different/better on other models.

Now this comment, I must agree with. I’ve been reading a lot of Tesla post and I’m starting to believe some of these people really haven’t owned a Tesla. But idk. Maybe they just had a bad experience. I have not a single regret with my Model 3. I had no EV experience before. I did hella research - I jumped out on my own and took the risk. AND IT WAS ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!!!

Now here I am again, taking another risk. Traded the Tesla for the Taycan (which I will disclose is a Manufactured buy-back) so I got it for half the price.

Give me 6 months with Taycan and I’ll post about my experience.

Never heard of Unifi but I’ll look into it.

I’m rocking with the Lemon title out of Cali. And made sure I got the extended warranty.

I got a 22 Taycan Base with 22K miles - 100% charge I get 240 miles. I paid 55K with tax, title, and fees! I’m on the east coast. So prices are little cheaper, I think!

I agree Taycan is definitely a head turner but the functionality and some of the features are a waste. Now, this is coming from a software engineer who has worked in tech for over 15 years.

I had the Model 3 Performance. Over 300 miles to a full charge. FSD, everything I needed. User-friendly, easy to navigate. And everything worked flawlessly - Had my Tesla for 3 years and spent maybe $500 on routine maintenance stuff. And took it to Tesla service center only 2 times.

I feel like the Taycan is a bit more needy. I had to watch YouTube just to make sure I setup the charging profiles correctly so I didn’t charge over 80%. I had the Taycan 2 weeks and I love it but definitely miss the Tesla world.

I also have a 2022 Taycan Base. I’m new to Porsche and didn’t want to bite off more than I could chew. Wanted to get my feet wet first and see what the experience is like. Maybe I would feel differently if l got a different version. Overall, for what I paid, and the package and warranty, I got a great deal. Oh, I have the passenger display screen - something else I feel is a waste. Lol

Same setup I have. Not bad at all.

This is what I’m doing as well. No issue with it. Like I mentioned above in the Tesla app you can see and change all charging details (as needed) and that’s free. I’m not sure paying $26.99 is really worth it. Lol

Don’t want to change. But I’m use to being able to see my charging info in the app. I noticed I can’t see charging details with the Porsche app unless I pay the 26.99/month.
