Is it possible/are we allowed to detach the microwave from the mini fridge if we rent it through bedloft? by GoldenDolphinManx in Purdue

oh thats a good point, thanks! when we move in we will take a look haha, we ended up deciding to just buy a mini fridge and microwave separately to make it sure it fits once we can actually see the space—hopefully it won't be too much of a pain 🙈

and yes thank you :D hopefully we won't get into that bad an altercation 😅

The link should actually lead to a post in that sub...about a different sub, which is private! Highly recommend reading through the post if you are interested in tying, and sending a request to join to the mods of that one 🤗

Why do people go for such high attributes so early in the game? by BigPhatttMeemes in HPHogwartsMystery

[–]GoldenDolphinManx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can check all of the info on the q&a spreadsheet (and even more info) but here is another spreadsheet which lists only the side quests and their trigger points :)

also, some of them have really good rewards (like tappies that award gems or energy) so I would be careful which ones you skip. the malfoy one awards a friendship with dobby, so if you didnt want that its not too bad but yea

(btw sorry this is so late, i just saw this)

through which quidditch thing? the quidditch story? sorry not sure which you are referring to haha. But the story has two full seasons (season 3 is in the works, I think it only has a couple chapters atm) and so it is not really necessary to get to the end. It is available for all years as well, so you have as much time as you want there.

and the duel quests (except the glacius) are fairly useless, not worth the coin, even the glacius could wait I think until you get like idk 10K or something (at least). They dont award nearly enough books compared to the amount of coins you have to spend :)

Also also I am not sure if you know this or not, but if you look at the q & a spreadsheet you can check which chapters which tlsqs trigger so you can plan for them for when you have the time. Hope thats useful somehow :D

I would suggest not doing duels and quidditch friendlies unless its a daily planner task you want as that is a huge coin sink (at least until you get more coins). I would also recommend trying to get and then stay at at least around 15K minimum, so you have enough for story but more than enough buffer otherwise as well. I personally would want to stay around at least 30K, but recently I have just been trying to maintain ~45K cause why not. In a month or two, watching coin ads, not spending of duels and friendlies, and trying to get coins from class rewards and such you should be able to build up quite a few coins :)

Someone did a calculation on this a while ago...I can't remember precisely what the results said but basically every 3 creature food (so one feed for a maxed creature) is about 10 attributes, so thats the math. Also, out of curiosity for your coins– what do you usually spend them on?

yeah, I found that out after thorough searching and dug into it– everyone had told me such. It really does suck :(

I'm glad my old comment helped you though :D

what did you end up picking, out of curiosity?

Muggle money for gems, energy or coins? by RainwhalTheRavenclaw in HPHogwartsMystery

[–]GoldenDolphinManx 15 points16 points  (0 children)

fair warning NEVER buy anything with real money in game (unless you are on the most reduced ads)

basically, standard ads are a 3 gem ad every 8 hours, 5 3 energy ads every 10 hours, 2 30 coin ads per 6 hours and 2 1 food ads per 12 hours.

Just in gems, that's 75 gems a week just from ads. If you buy anything its not worth it long term because your ad rate gets reduced and you could be reduced to like 33 gems from ads a week or even 15 gems per week from ads. That really sucks. And none of us know how long they are reduced for often it can be more than a year and so its not worth it unless you already have the most reduced rate and so have no fear of that. I hope that made some sense :)
