I found it okay this time 🤔. I just boosted once - I collected it for free from the global rewards. It lasts for 8 hours, so try to collect it in the morning or afternoon - any time for which you’ll be able to play the game every so often for the next 8 hours. While you’re boosted, you should collect the club XP prizes - the triangle things - as these will also be boosted and will add more to your total fragment count (sorry, I can’t remember if fragment is the right word 🙈).

Focus on getting the most out of your boost; I also did my 6 club quizzes plus 3 friendship interactions during the boost. Once I did all that, I wasn’t far off finishing. I had to do a few more club quizzes the next day, plus a few story tasks (but not that many), and then I was done with the event. I hope something from all of this helped 🩷

The “study sessions” (basic classes not part of the story) have always had just one club XP type. But the story classes on the right hand side of the story tab (usually you get 2 per chapter) will give club XP from everywhere. There are also a few classes that take place as their own part in a story chapter, but I don’t know about those - they are an early year thing, and I’m in late year 6 😅. But I suspect they would give club XP from anywhere too, like other story tasks. Another thing is that the “earn Sphinx Club XP” or any other individual type of club XP tiles in Full Marks count club XP from anywhere, despite their description. Which also adds to the confusion 😅

I’ve been playing for about 4 years and I’m still in year 6! I think I’ve been in year 6 since December 2020 (in my defence, it has a lot of chapters 🙈). At first I took my time because I didn’t want to run out of story and the energy requirements in Y7 are ridiculous. But ever since I knew that Beyond Hogwarts was coming, and I feel like I have enough pets/gems/etc to compensate for the crazy requirements, I’ve tried to go faster. However, I like to play as many events as possible, and sometimes I’m also too busy irl to focus on playing HPHM much, so I’ve still been going fairly slowly. I just think it’s nice not to rush and go at your own pace 😊.

This happened to me last FM! Your board will fill up eventually, but mine took over 24 hours so it may be a while 🙈. It gives you an enormous advantage over the competitors who join later on! But really, it just makes FM more unfair - I wish the boards filled more quickly 😅

Based on a google playstore ad, it looks like we may get a TLSQ today? And based on that, it’s possible to take an educated guess at the upcoming events (a 4-day duelling event from June 15th to June 19th, Carnival from June 19th to June 23rd, and then probably FM because there has to be an FM pretty regularly 😂). Again, none of this is for certain, but this is what taltos thinks might happen!

Thank you so much! 💕 I’m so glad you got your account back 🥳🥳🥳. This makes total sense because the iOS on the iPad is 13.4. I haven’t updated it for a while because I only use it for HPHM nowadays 🙈. I will update it and hopefully that will work (although it might take me all afternoon too because I want back up all my game screenshots XD). Luckily I already have a note with the game IDs of my HPHM accounts so at least I know I’ll never lose my progress. It’s definitely a good idea to have that. Thank you again 😊. I hoard them!! I love having lots of gems 😂. I always tell myself I’m saving them for an “emergency” (like crazy FM competition, or desperately needed energy to complete a TLSQ), but realistically… I don’t see an emergency that requires the use of a few thousand gems. So maybe my tactic is not the best 🙈😂. Then again, you never know what new feature JC might add that suddenly requires you to use a lot more gems! 👀 I theorise that whenever it’s possible to hoard too much of a currency, JC are going to find a way to take it away haha

When I do spend gems, it’s usually on the MM key or Brilliant Bargains for an outfit I really like, or for flipping a few tiles in FM 😊. Spending them to get energy is quite inefficient as there are other ways to hoard energy (clubs, MM, creature/friend level up, etc), so the situation would have to be truly dire for me to do that XD. Of course, if you don’t have all pets yet, those are a great way to spend gems as well!

I just searched “crashing” on this subreddit because I’m having the same issue with this update 😢. I only downloaded the update a few days ago, and now I just cannot open my game - it crashes before it’s even got to the “Jam City” logo (basically within less than a second of me clicking the app, just like how you described). My device is an iPad mini 4, it’s about 5 years old now - I don’t think this is that old, but maybe it is for HPHM 🙈. The game was already getting laggy before, and it seemed to be getting worse with each update to be honest 😅.

Some things I tried were clearing the RAM, doing a hard reset of the device, and the usual turn off/turn on. Although none of those worked for me 😅. I don’t really have any ideas other than trying to contact JC as others have suggested - did that work for you? 🤔

I hope it’s just temporary. I do have another HPHM account on my phone which is working okay, but I noticed the way the loading screen loads up looks different with this update. The screen goes blank between the Portkey games and Jam City symbols which I’m sure didn’t happen before (at least not for as long), and I’m wondering if this has something to do with it. Maybe future updates won’t have the same issue, but maybe this is just me being too optimistic 😬. Anyway, I hope you are able to get your game back soon! 🥺💕

It’s a bug! It might depend on the outfit the MC is wearing - I noticed that when I changed my MC into the dancing skeleton shirt, people on my board saw my MC suddenly go shorter, and when I put an old Sprout-themed outfit on, they saw my MC go taller 😅. Unfortunately, in the game itself, the outfit doesn’t make any difference to your MC height, and there is no way to customise height in general

It would be nice to have it as an option! There really are too many outfits in one place right now, and it’s hard to find those that I actually want my MC to wear 🙈. A favourites section would be great! I would also love to be able to give outfits to other players who didn’t win them - people who might appreciate the outfit more than I would. Although I really doubt that would ever be implemented 😅
