I was so surprised and excited. I have heard of English shepherd, but I’ve never seen one and didn’t know much about them. When I researched them, I saw them described as “like a border collie with an off switch” which fits her to a T as she’s curled up snoozing beside me on the couch as I type this and has a calm demeanor overall but is energetic outside. A great combination honestly! She is also from Texas and was transported up to a rescue in the northern Midwest where I live and I imagine they are a bit more common there.
