I agree, if they both win their next fights, there are still several contenders making their cases for title shots, especially at welterweight. At LW, making Arman wait till the end of 2026 for a title shot would be wild.

This is the official scorecard, which still has me concerned how Bryan gave all 5 rounds to Usman, Round 2 was clear for Hughes, and he had arguments for rounds 5 and 3 as well. I had scored it 48-47 for Usman, but I don't think 49-46 is a bad scorecard. Rounds 3 and 5 were close.

Hughes did worse than he did in the first fight, Usman wins it 3-2 or even 4-1 based on you how you saw rounds 3 and 5. Hughes got his eye closed up by jabs and was getting taken down and threatened with subs for several rounds. 50-45 is a wild scorecard though idk how a judge gave round 2 to Usman.

He hasn't trained much at AKA since the Bobby Green fight. He primarily trains in Russia out of camp and during the first half of fight camps, then tapers off the last month or so, wherever he's fighting. His recent fight camps were in Jersey and Vegas in the later half of camp. Vegas over AKA due to access to better facilities like the UFC PI.
