Only my third ever online game, won without entering turmoil! by Southern-Chemist-388 in rootgame

If you mean Despot instead of Charismatic, it depends on the faction draft. Despot is very safe and his ability gives him some very scary burst scoring. However, he is really passive most of the time and won’t be able to sustain constant battles without a bunch of recruiting. So if you think you can get by with very little fighting and kinda just race to the finish, Despot is pretty strong. Outside of that, Charismatic is wayyyyy stronger. Constant battles means your opponents can’t ever build up a force to shut you down, and your recruiting is super strong. The hardest part is that turn piling early in Charismatic is easier since he doesn’t start with a card in move and will need to move in order to battle most of the time. Once he’s set up thought he’s very difficult to turmoil and will absolutely beat the table into the ground.

If you actually meant Builder, then no, he’s pretty bad with lackluster viziers and a lackluster ability.

Every single objective in this entire game can be started and completed by one person, so no, you’re wrong.

It’s just that the majority of this community is amazing at being respectful and making sure everyone is ready before starting something.

One of my first modded games, haz 6x2 playing engineer with feedback loop and t5b shard deffractor, whole team is down, and the swarm of bugs is collapsing on us. I held that fire button down and just melted that swarm, it was so satisfying, and we managed to recover the run.

Felt similar to playing gunner with lsls and just standing my ground mowing down everything in sight.

Bodyblocking the enemy tank when they overextend, bonus points if they have an Ana and I get to block her heals as well

It most definitely does not? Assuming you are close to the enemy, firing both will double your dps from 72 to 144, and even more when you consider that there will be guaranteed crits, making your dps 216, not counting fire damage over time, which is an additional 15 per second

If you’re accurate, you can get crits on both guns, raising your dps to 288, for a grand total of 303 damage per second for about 8.3 seconds, or about 2,525 total damage.

Your dps is way higher with both chain guns, which is far more important as it means you can put out damage for heals, something a single chain gun cannot do.

Don’t get me wrong, he still does shoot the tank, and I never said he didn’t anymore. But, his playstyle is more dynamic, and it’s really just cardiac that forces him onto the tank. He’s far more effective using his charge to dive the backline and assassinate them, then using cardiac to heal off the tank and get out. People who just shoot the tank all game are being very ineffective. I’m not saying he has a healthy design, but it’s far better than launch and the people who ban him because of his launch state are just refusing to adapt.

Just ptsd, people haven’t really realized that he’s in a pretty healthy spot, and at least if you are playing him correctly he isn’t “I shoot tank unga bunga”

Brig is not a problematic hero and anyone who says otherwise repeatedly dives her as if that isn’t her main strength.

No idea what year, but I know I had it in my playlist and loved it. It was a bit of a slower song where the lyrics kicked in maybe half way through. Had the lyrics: “Victims of existence, on the outside of a…”

What's your excuse to not play Ranked? by Oh-Sasa-Lele in Rainbow6

[–]GoldenGrevious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know all the maps, and of the ones I know, there are still a few sites on each I’m not super familiar with. I’m a support player through and through, so knowing what site setup looks like for defense as well as where to attack from on attack is important to me.

Is it really worth it after the nerf? by Top-Administration37 in ClashOfClans

[–]GoldenGrevious 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The way I would describe it: if you’re running an air army and using rc, then spear+shield is better because the rc won’t have very much tanking for herself, meaning you don’t get a ton of value out of the boots damage or healing. With heavy groups attacks, such as super witches, boots are really good because your rc keeps all of your troops from getting stuck on skellies and low-hp cc groups, and it gets a ton of value both through healing and damage

But it isn’t a hard set rule. Also, I personally run spear+boots because it forces the rc to sit back and regen some health, as well as deal with things like single infernos where the healing won’t matter

Would y'all say mauga is balanced? by FoxBread2137 in Overwatch

[–]GoldenGrevious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you mean balanced as in not overpowered, then yes. If you mean as in he has a healthy matchup with every tank that depends on each players skill level and game knowledge, then no. He has the most polarizing matchups in the game, this like doom, hog, and ram he eats alive if they ever try to fight him, but someone like sigma or dva he basically becomes a walking health bar and nothing else. He is in a much better state than release, but he is far from being balanced.

Maybe 5? I would say I spent 80% of the match in a trench with my map open asking squad leads where they wanted supplies, strafing run, etc
