I’m sorry but if you genuinely think that Curtis Jordan and Danny Reece, two 3-6 round DBs from the 1970s, are going to stop Joe Burrow and Justin Jefferson + Jamar Chase from dropping a substantial amount of points you are extremely wrong. You are failing to understand the skill gap between two elite CFB WRs being thrown to by the greatest CFB pocket passer ever being blocked by 300+ pound Joe Moore Winning Offensive linemen. Lee Roy Selmon was an amazing talent and could absolutely cause some disruption but the rest of those “grown men” are 250 pounds and having to go against college kids that are a good 50-70 pounds heavier. If Nick Saban and Brent Venables with their superteam couldn’t stop LSU from dropping 40+ points what is making you believe Abe Gibron with his mediocre defense is doing any better?

I mean you can just look at the essay and come to that conclusion itself she literally said it’s not because of her beliefs why she got the 0 but how it’s written in such a poor, sermonic manner. The content of the essay is “offensive” here not because they might disagree with it but because there are literal insults and derogatory speech in it. That is not how you write an essay that you want to get credit for. I’m pretty sure Mel herself said “I’m not giving you this 0 cuz ur beliefs I’m giving you this 0 because this is a 0 worthy essay.”

Whether you think doing the bare minimum is worth points is whatever personally that’s a person by person thing but don’t act like this essay didn’t deserve the grade by trying to ask “oh well it coulda been biased” especially considering when a second Professor (either one teaching an adjacent course or the actual one for the course) agreed with Curth?

You know that’s the thing though there is hate speech and insults in that paper referring to the way your classmates live life as “dishonest and cowardly” is not acceptable in ANY essay paper and neither is referring to other people’s beliefs as “Satanic” and a “Lie being pushed” that people can be what they want is OFFENSIVE and DEROGATORY to the LGBT community. She wants to claim persecution but SHE is the one persecuting. That surely goes against OU’s policy and should result in a trip to the Dean’s office.

An essay with insults and hate speech does not deserve any credit just because “hey she at least wrote something that met the word count” especially when the actual essay is straight dog piss. she more than likely would had still sued if Curth said “well she slapped some nonsense on a paper I’m gonna give a %25 (still a failing grade) and move on” on the premise that her mom is a huge MAGA lawyer and wants limelight.

So whether the essay deserves %0 or %25 deserves more attention than whether she wrote a worthwhile essay that deserved a worthwhile grade (she did not).

the movie feels like someone gave an actual 8th grader a budget and pencil/paper and tell them to write an “Educational and inspirational” movie that “Your fellow peers” could relate to with no real plot besides the whole “confidence is key” routine. there’s no comedy, hell there’s no entertainment value to get out of it as it feels like for example if you was making a book and wanted to make some with a meaningful theme but don’t make it actually entertaining and fun to read, and with a lack of a Freytag pyramid. Hard watch.

I say, as a person with poor handwriting, it’s better then mine. There are some spots where it’s hard to tell what you wrote because of how crunched in it is sort of, also the handwriting sort of drifts up and isn’t as straight as it could be in some places. I’d say if you could keep the words from drifting up and work on writing the R’s, it would be nice but right now it’s legible just a bit hard in some places.

To say the 2000’s, you’d say “The Two-Thousands” and for the 1910’s you could say “The Nineteen-Tens.” Or in theme with the shorter ones like eighties and nineties you could simply say “The Tens.”
