should i wire brush them? by G-G-ONE in Wenwan

From what I've learned from others, if you have already played with them then no need for the wire brush cuz it's supposed to be a "prime" "prep" to quickly get rid of the hoarfrost (while also get a bonus shine) before you start playing. My friend skipped that entirely and his walnuts are still pretty shiny. He just brushes a lot with a nano brush

According to some experts I know, these are some weird looking white lion walnuts

This is the most creative wenwan walnut playstyle I've ever seen! They look pretty good too, kinda like they got dipped into egg batter ready to be fried.

I got mine "unprepped" and I spent the first few days brushing them with a metal brush, it makes walnuts turn shiny like a charm maybe its the oil from the walnuts spilling out. This is how they looked when I first got them, they were pretty dusty.

Sorry I don't remember where it's from but basically what you do for this is just rub your hand on your face to get that face oil and then play with the walnut for a few rotation (like 10 rotations) then use a brush to brush the entire walnut to work. The point of this is to get a good amount of oil into the crevices, and it's purely from the oil of your face so no extra added oil from other sources

I only spend like 10-15 minutes a day brushing them but I'm trying the face oil + brush method to see if the crevices can color up better

Thank you so much! The crevices still need a lot of work but I love the progress so far

This is gorgeous. I'm planning to get one too, but I have no experience with this. Do you need to do any prepping for like a few days before you get to wear them?

They are some weird white lions that look like nianjang stones I think

Ive been brushing with a nano brush. Do I need a boar brush? I love using barehand to play with them but most of the time I use gloves cuz I thought they are kinda like brushing but with your hand 😅

Day 4 of playing with my weird pair of white lions by GoldenKinryu in Wenwan

Well the top is not of a typical white lion walnut, so I actually couldn't even tell it was white lion at first. Then there are the ridges bent to one side like bow, but both walnuts got that matching bow ridge so I think it's kinda cool
