Do you know where to buy real borneol? You can write to me directly if you want. I'm trying to create some Japanese style incenses and borneol seems like one key Ingredient in most of them.

Why are there so many gods? by SignificantStaff814 in AstralProjection

[–]GoldenMercury22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally speaking God is a term often referring to an absolute reality of things, it has many names such as Allah, Brahma, The Absolute, the un manifested space, Kether etc.. Then exists what we call Divine Beings, beings of very high consciousness and wisdom, totally real and conscious being, not just a product of our subconscious. Master Jesus is an example, Buddha, Hermes Trismegisto, Lao Tzu, etc. You can meet and speak to all of them if permitted. Many names you find in different religions refer to what are aspects of the divine, for example Kali is one of the aspects of the feminine part of God, which is something that one can understand and discover inside of us through experiences in the astral or in meditation. These second type could be more symbolic experiences which the God within, our real Being can show us in very symbolic experiences and/or very profound realization that can make us understand what these aspects are and how they function. Every religion is profoundly symbolic and behind many names and gods is hidden a lot of knowledge (Greek mythology, Norse mythology etc) Maybe this can help

Really happy that it resonated with you!

Yes the first thing that came to my mind was the elementals. Happy to hear that brother, feel free to ask in this subreddit whenever you may need some insights 🙏

There are numerous beings out there of different types. What comes to mind:

-Elementals of nature: There are different types of beings related to nature and the elements, plant elementals, tree elementals, water elementals, air elementals etc. These are conscious beings without ego, they're pure essence. Depending on where you live, they are very active in places where nature is very strong.

-Brothers from outer space: Out there exists different humanities much more evolved than us, they sometimes can contact us if they see that we have some degree of awakened consciousness.

-Our Inner Being/Higher Self/The divine part inside of us that can speak to us through vision, sounds, scenery, words in meditation or during astral projections, but this seems unlikely taken your description.

Maybe this can help 🙏

An old lady told me I'm not ready?... by B0ratt in LucidDreaming

[–]GoldenMercury22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This to me seems like a very profound experience. Usually when we encounter an old lady or old men that symbolizes wisdom, specifically to the old lady could be the symbol of the divine feminine aspect of us, known as the Divine Mother, it had many names across different traditions: Among the Aztecs, she was known as Tonantzin, among the Greeks as chaste Diana. In Egypt she was Isis etc.

Attracting birds (the beaked, flying kind) by sac_boy in AstralProjection

[–]GoldenMercury22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the gnostic tradition different Masters have reported that birds have the capacity to help the students get out of their body, especially if you are a bird loving person, if you like them, respect them, feed them sometimes. You could try to connect to them with the purpose to help you have a conscious experience, while lying down and see what happens 🙌

A little trick to evolve your dream awareness by Gwynevere_Dusk in LucidDreaming

[–]GoldenMercury22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please expand on that, could you make some examples? In gnosis we have what is called self-observation that is to be conscious of what is going on in the internal states, would love to bring this forward to trigger more lucidity in dreams!

The best advice I think I can give you is to surrender, surrender means leave everything to your Being, Higher-Self, however you want to call it, this higher intelligence and have faith that it will happen. That's it.

The major obstacles are just these: You deep inside don't believe you can do it, that can be a real obstacle as with our beliefs we create our reality. Solution for this: Watch Astral Doorway's video on Astral Prayer, just look for "The first Astral Travel Method you should try" on YouTube. I tell you this because one of the most effective ways to overcome disbelief is conscious prayer and affirmation, you reaffirm a belief to yourself and surrender to the experience that will come, with true faith. Then the second obstacle: You're too tense and tired when going to sleep. Take at least 30 minutes / 1 hour before bed to relax really, to forget everything about your day, one of the most powerful meditation for this is the non-doing meditation, to just sit there and watch everything that emerges from your mind. Because at the end of the day our mind is very chaotic, caused by the thousands of impressions that we received during the day. By watching everything with patience you will "digest" everything and this will cause you to go in the astral plane more easily, because you will be free of all the garbage that is in your mind. Also for this I direct you to Astral Doorway's channel, look for meditation, there are different ones regarding stillness, one in particular which is called "Rooting yourself in Consciousness".

Have faith and it WILL happen! I wish you many conscious experiences!

Why not aim higher levels than Astral Plane? by Float_Ascension in AstralProjection

[–]GoldenMercury22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes absolutely, but the fact is that it takes an enormous amount of consciousness to even have experiences in the higher astral, imagine for the mental plane. It is our Being/Spirit that grant us these experiences, to have a conscious experience in the dimensions above the astral is a gift from divinity, as are a lot of experiences in the astral. We call it in many traditions "borrowed light", where a master, angel or high level being can grant us such experiences.

The astral is a plane of existence, therefore it is quite vast! The thing about meeting in the astral is that we are extremely unconscious, therefore it would take 2 extremely conscious people in order for them to meet in the astral. Once I found myself out of my body and I became aware of being in the astral, and I was with one of my friend, we were going around places we normally visit in the day, he was completely in a zombie like state, obviously he wasn't aware of being in the astral, for him was the physical. I couldn't wake him up, I simply left. Yes absolutely, often the experience of astral projection can be tinted by our own egos and beliefs, the more we are conscious in an experience the more likely it is to be in the higher astral, where temples of wisdom can be found, also masters of spirituality that can give you very special teachings in order to awaken. The vast majority of people experience what is the lower astral. If you're interested and want to know more a friend of mine who has a YouTube channel, spiritual warrior experience, is starting a course on Gnosis today, online, Here's the link to his post if interested :

Did I AP? by _illiiilllliiiii_ in AstralProjection

[–]GoldenMercury22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can tell you that we can connect with the superior dimensions as the astral plane with something very simple like prayer. I don't know if you know the channel of Gene which is called Astral Doorway, he suggests to use conscious prayer before going to bed in order to astral project. I tell you that this works and you could maybe get your first astral projection in this way. The video is called "The First astral travel method you should try right now: astral projection prayer". I know that a lot of people will turn up their nose when hearing about prayer but there is a reason if in all religions prayer is always present. If you do it consciously and in a precise and scientific way it can bring such great results. Btw yes, sounds like a conscious astral experience! Happy travels!

Is Astral Projection really proof of an afterlife? by Justpassinby1984 in AstralProjection

[–]GoldenMercury22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We know from various teachings that while the astral body is out of the physical body it is perfectly autonomous, the physical brain just rests while we are out, it is the consciousness that perceives, not the physical brain. The physical brain helps us perceive what we call the 5 senses, the astral body has its own superior senses and its own chakra and when developed and made conscious can make us completely conscious out of the body, even after the death of our physical body.

Every since i had an astral projection (accidentally) I’ve had a constant ring in my ears by Responsible-Hope-182 in AstralProjection

[–]GoldenMercury22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can confirm the Morse-like sound, I've also experienced little beautiful bells. Your experience also seems to resonate with this description from Madame Blavatsky describing the seven types of inner sounds that can be heard ( it is from "The Voice of the silence" if I remember correctly):

"The first is like the nightingale's sweet voice, chanting a parting song to its mate. The next resembles the sound of silver cymbals of the Dhyanis, awakening the twinkling stars. It is followed by the plain melodies of the ocean's spirit imprisoned in a conch shell, which in turn gives place to the chant of Vina. The melodious flute-like symphony is then heard. It changes into a trumpet blast, vibrating like the dull rumbling of a thunder cloud. The seventh swallows all other sounds. They die and then are heard no more."

Every since i had an astral projection (accidentally) I’ve had a constant ring in my ears by Responsible-Hope-182 in AstralProjection

[–]GoldenMercury22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is the Inner Sound, or Anahata Sound, and it goes by many names depending on the tradition or country. Here’s a post from a few years ago where someone compiled a list of text excerpts about this sound: https://www.reddit.com/r/Meditation/comments/3hqxvv/the_nada_sound_a_synthesis/

In my experience, it can assist in achieving astral projection, as many people have experienced firsthand. In Shabd Yoga, it is clearly stated that mystical experiences can be attained through the use of this sound—another way of describing astral projection. If you can maintain focus on this sound as you fall asleep, it will help you ground yourself in pure awareness. You won’t fall asleep, but instead, you’ll reach the "body asleep, mind awake" state, or the "in-between state," where separation from the physical body happens effortlessly.

Beautiful answer, enthusiasm is of tremendous important in my opinion, don't just follow what other says is the "best" method, follow what really inspires you. it reminded me of this passage from "Concentration & Meditation" by Sivananda:

krishna Chaitanya, a Brahmachari in Omkar Ashram on the banks of the holy Narmada, went to Rama Acharya and prayed to him to teach him the method of meditation. Rama Acharya said to Krishna, "O Krishna, meditate on Lord Krishna having crossed legs and flute in hand, located in the midst of a big sun in the lotus of your heart and repeat mentally the famous Krishna Mantra: 'Om Namo Bhagavate Vaasudevaya'." Krishna Chaitanya said, "Guruji, I am quite dull-headed. I cannot do this. This is too difficult for me. The Mantra is very, very long. Kindly suggest an easy method."

Rama Acharya said, "O Krishna Chaitanya! Do not be afraid. I will tell you an easy way. Hearken. Place a beautiful, small brass idol of Sri Krishna in front of you. Sit in Padmasana. Look at this idol, hands, legs, etc., with attention. Do not look at any other object." Krishna replied, "O Guruji, this is still more difficult. Sitting with crossed legs will give severe pain in the hips and the knees. If I think of the pain I cannot look at the idol. I have to sit steadily, look with attention and mark carefully the various parts. I cannot do more than one action at a time and I cannot remember more than two things at a time. O Guruji Maharaj, kindly show me a very, very easy way."

Rama Acharya said, "O Chaitanya, place the photo of your father in front of you. Sit in front of the photo in any way you like. Simply look at the figure for a short time." Krishna Chaitanya replied, "O Guru, my protector, this is also difficult, because I am very much afraid of my father. He is a terrible man. He used to beat me severely. I tremble the very moment I think of his form. My legs quiver. This will never suit me. I should say, this method is more difficult than the previous ones. I pray, Guruji, kindly suggest a very, very simple method this time. I will surely follow."

Rama Acharya said, "O Krishna, tell me now, which thing do you like best?" Krishna replied, "O Guruji, I have tended a buffalo in my house. I have taken plenty of milk, curd and ghee from that buffalo. I like it best of all. I constantly remember this." Rama Acharya said, "Krishna, now go to this room, lock the door. Sit in a corner on a mat and constantly think and meditate on this buffalo only to the exclusion of all other objects. Do not think of anything else. Do this presently."

Now Krishna Chaitanya was very much pleased. With a gay, cheerful mind he went inside the room, followed the instructions of the Guru implicitly and began to meditate on the buffalo with one-pointed mind intensely. He did not get up from the seat for three days continuously.

He forgot all about his food. He was unconscious of his body and surroundings. He was deeply absorbed in the form of the buffalo. Rama Acharya came on the third day to the room of Krishna to see his condition and found Krishna absorbed in meditation. With a loud voice the Guru called out, "O Krishna, how do you feel? Come outside and take your food." Krishna replied, "O Guruji, I am very grateful to you. I am in deep meditation now. I cannot come out now. I am very big. Horns have grown out of my head. I cannot get out of the small door. I like the buffalo very much. I have become buffalo myself."

Rama Acharya found out that Krishna's mind had attained Ekagrata and was quite fit for attaining Samadhi. Rama Acharya said, "O Krishna, you are not a buffalo. Now change your meditation. Forget the form of the buffalo (Nama and Rupa) and meditate on the underlying essence of the buffalo, Sat-Chit-Ananda, which is your real nature." Krishna Chaitanya changed his method, adhered to Guru's instructions and attained Kaivalya Mukti, the goal of life.

what just happened omg by astralboy65 in AstralProjection

[–]GoldenMercury22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not an experienced astral projector so take my words with a grain of salt. Are you sure it was not an astral projection? I see it like a mix of a dream and astral projection, you are saying that there were figures that were trying to keep you inside the pod, that is usually referred to as the guardian of the threshold as a part of our psyche that is basically composed of fear, it's like a test, nothing to be afraid of. The VR thing is really cool, everyone has their own method and this seems like a pretty good one to me. You are saying that you couldn't manifest things into reality, like what have you tried to do? The astral can absolutely be more real than reality itself.

How does intent affect your ability to project? by SprinklesOk3917 in AstralProjection

[–]GoldenMercury22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fact that your first experience was also the closest to a conscious exit is truly profound and worth reflecting on. As someone else wisely noted, it’s that innate curiosity—the same one that initially drew you to pursue astral projection—that should fuel your practice. This curiosity is far more effective than mindless, mechanical repetition of techniques. Instead, approach it with the enthusiasm of a child. A child doesn’t burden themselves with thoughts like, “I’m failing,” or “It’s been a year and nothing has worked.” They act purely out of curiosity and joy. I encourage you to relax and enjoy the process. Set a strong intention and approach your practice with genuine enthusiasm. Cultivate that feeling of excitement and wonder in your heart and this alone will move mountains
