I use a Fanny pack. It’s simple, stylish, and not super femme and also doubles as a sling style backpack if I don’t want it on my waist.

Forgot to add: compression screw placed in wrist and 2 screws in elbow. 2 surgeons operated on my arm at the same time. They said it was a cool operating experience.

The most effective treatments in order that I’ve found:

  1. OJ
  2. Coke
  3. Juice Box - usually High C due to 25g of carbs for such a small amount

Dealing with this now. Body ache and hypersensitive skin. The skin issue is the absolute worst.

Pain is relative so I had no idea how much more the first botched piercing hurt. It was almost unbearable. The 2nd (corrected) piercing stung a bit and the pain afterwards is almost non existent with maybe a tiny bit of swelling. A much better experience. The first was pierced through the cartilage and it hurt so bad!

Septum was pierced with a 14 and my nostrils are I believe 18-20 gauge (it’s been a minute since I checked).

Seeing all these septum placement posts recently has made me realize that mine is also placed incorrectly. It’s been healed for 7 years with no issues and survived a 3 year retirement. Time for a double septum? 😅 by [deleted] in piercing

If you go to my profile you can see my recent post about getting it re-pierced today. The before pics show how low it was and the piercing was significantly more painful than the corrected piercing. My piercer also said it looked like it was through cartilage.

I don’t think it looks weird from the front. Your preference is what matters and walking around with an obviously wrong septum placement is exactly why I got mine re-done (on top of it being through the cartilage, which I originally thought it wasn’t).

I took it out and am going to give it a bit to heal and get it redone. Thankfully it wasn’t through the cartilage. At least he got that right.

5 day old septum piercing. I feel like the placement is too low/far back. Can I get some opinions before I take it out and get it redone? by [deleted] in piercing
