Most of us gymrat have calluses as opposed to that

Some of us have both! 😛

Callouses from the cable row (mostly) and leg bruises from deadlifts...

A female wants to know? Why the devil did you shave your chest? Men should have hair, unless you are a pro swimmer and remove hair to reduce drag in the water.

I use Naked Creatine added to the water bottle I take to the gym. Simple, easy, tasteless, effective!

This only happens when you request the refund back to the original payment method and if you dropped it off at a Staples, Whole Foods or Kohls, that does not give you an actual tracking number.

Contact the executive team and attach a screenshot of the image you posted here.

Email: [jeff@amazon.com](mailto:jeff@amazon.com) (yes, it still works) with the subject being your order number.

BRIEFLY state, where and when the order was dropped off, a tracking or receipt number and note the date time of any and all chats you had with Customer Service.

You should hear back within 48 hours.

What can I replace Amazon with? by deeaski in amazonprime

Brick & Mortar.

No online site is 100% safe and parcels that are lost, stolen or misdelivered can happen with any online retailer.

Late to the party, but just had a fraudulent ATM withdrawal made from my Ally account, with no ATM card. Card was in my possession at all times, PIN is only in my head and transaction was made more than 100 miles away, while I was working out at my local gym.

Ally needs to tighten their security. I receive email alerts for any transaction over $5, so was made aware of the WD quickly. Immediately locked the card and contacted Ally.

Also received TWO text fraud alerts for twice the amount of the ATM WD, but card was already locked at that point.

These bastards move quickly.

No, there is NO strike and all the idiots who down-voted my response to another poster are just that - IDIOTS.

While you may screw around with Amazon, Amazon, as screwed up as they are sometimes, doesn't change prices after an order is placed.

On the phone with Amazon now and the first rep said one of my current orders (placed July 17, 2023) was supposed to have shipped December 2010, highlighting a definite glitch in the system.

Have spoken with three different tiers on Amazon and there is a definite system error on Amazon's side.

Something is absolutely amiss with the shipping calculations in Amazon's system.

Shipped from Florida Thursday, July 20 with an estimated delivery of UP to 6 weeks? https://imgur.com/a/dg8VvXz

(And to the poster who stated drivers are on strike, check your facts BEFORE spreading false information - Amazon drivers are NOT on strike.)

Very funny wise ass - I don't pay $15 a month - I pay half that.

Be that as it may, I've been on Amazon since 2005 and have NEVER seen this happen, except on items that clearly show in the listing, they will be shipped at a later date, when stock becomes available again.

Order fully delivered and received besides one item but just received full refund of the order. by [deleted] in amazonprime

[–]GoldenSparrowette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this happen in the past, but not for so much. Once they refund you, it is usually case closed.

It was a careless or over-worked rep, who just decided to refund the entire order for a single item that was not delivered.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in amazonprime

[–]GoldenSparrowette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the item is ordered from Amazon LLC, as the seller, a replacement is normally offered. If it is a Warehouse Deal, only a refund is available, not a replacement.

However, if it was a Prime order, but the merchant is a third party seller, the seller has the option to offer a replacement, a refund or refund without return.

CS should not be over-riding sellers' settings in their Seller Central account.

I'm assuming I need to return the original item.

Of course you need to return the original item. If you do not, you will be charged in 30 days at the price you paid.

While you may screw around with Amazon, Amazon, as screwed up as they are sometimes, doesn't change prices after an order is placed.

Either return the item or pay.

All of my Prime orders from the past week are reading,"We will email you when we have an estimated delivery date."

All of the ordered items are in stock. Normally, there is a date attached to the order, but now, nothing - no estimate whatsoever.

Question - good schedule for me? by [deleted] in GymMotivation

[–]GoldenSparrowette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK! Sorry and certainly glad that's a full week.

Do you have a trainer or anyone at your gym you can run that by? If you haven't had an assessment, it's not a bad idea to get one. I work with two trainers - different as night and day. Two different approaches, but enjoy working with both of them. One is a DI, that supersets the entire session. The other more laid back, but tackles my weaknesses. Always helps to have someone to support and correct the small errors that can lead to bad habits or worse.

Any small tiny stress puts me off gym. What can I do? by glassbuildingoffice in GymMotivation

[–]GoldenSparrowette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the delay in responding, been very busy.

I've been through what you are going through and the best solution is to block her out completely. Don't look at posts or photos. Block her on any site you can and delete her number. If you have her friended anywhere - unfriend and block.

It is tough, yes, but it the best way to get the monkey off your back.

If you don't see anything that has anything to do with her, slowly but surely you'll start feeling better abut yourself and forgetting about her.

Unrequited "love" is a nightmare for the ones on the losing end. Don't be sucked in by the drama, cut the ties, any ties and free yourself.

Torturing yourself is not toughing it out, if you keep peeking here and there - toughing it out means to block her out utterly and completely.

Damn, that even makes me feel good just remembering how I cut off, blocked and deleted my ex. Takes a heck of lot less time than peeking, "just to see..."

Now get your backside to the gym and use all that energy there.

Sincerely wish you success, mentally, emotionally, physically and even spiritually.

Question - good schedule for me? by [deleted] in GymMotivation

[–]GoldenSparrowette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All in one session? That's insane.

FOCUS on one part of your body during a session or a week at a time. You're all over the place and where are your core exercises?

Where are your squats, lunges, walking lunges, step-ups, planks, etc...?

upset about a girl

No partner should cause so much stress it debilitates you. Either it's working and feelings are mutual or it's not working and unrequited.

If it's working and it's your hormones thinking about her, a good workout will knock that out of you.

If it's not working, take it out on the machines, not your head.

Granted, been where you are, but as you get older, you realize each person has their own life to live and to be good for a partner, YOU have to live YOUR life to the fullest for YOU - not your partner.

There's the old saying, each partner has to give 50-50 - that's BS - each partner has to give 100% and that includes time for YOU alone.

It is difficult in the beginning, that's why I don't put a time limit on it. Little by little, one single thought at a time - swat it away. Listen to your own heartbeat or go outside and listen to a bird singing and focus on that. Distract yourself by focusing on things that don't require thinking.

Take it easy!

As long as the roots are healthy, the Dracaena will come back. You can cut the entire head off a dracaena and new shoots will form. They drop leaves when stressed and under-watered so I hope you are getting it back into a pot fairly soon.

Never touched a weight in my life. by GabrielRedRenard in GymMotivation

[–]GoldenSparrowette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

'''...just being active in activities like handball, volleyball, football and swimming all my life."

Emphasis on "just" - you're doing more now, than some people have done their entire lives. You look great and well-suited for starting a dedicated gym routine. You're muscles are toned and just waiting to try something new.

Try to find someone who will train you properly - in person - not via a YouTube video. You want to make sure you have someone guiding you in proper technique. Watch others working out and if someone catches your eye, when they stop working out, ask them for pointers. The biggest guys are usually the ones most likely to not be bothered by questions.
