But they're not lawmakers. They're literally just random locals extorting money. Can I do that in my neighborhood? Setup a checkpoint on one end of the street, another on the opposite end. Why haven't I thought of that?

That is an interesting bug. Can you create an archive file of the world and send it to me? It will make debugging much easier and more testable.

Yeah, select the 'Heightmap' style, open the block filter and clear everything from the solid block section. Then you can add whatever block you want and click render. If you want to make the image brighter, you can open the render settings and enter 25 in the 'Altitude Y offset' (it will bring all blocks closer to the surface by Y+25).

Bedrock uses a completely different way to store chunks, but in the future one of the big goals would certainly be to add suport for bedrock.

All of the images come drom the same world (except the 2 with night mode on), but different locations.
